Vintage Indoor Fm Antenna For Stereo Receiver

This receiver does a great job of playing my 60-80 records through its Phono channel at volumes close to what I remember back then when I was playing them in a band at the clubs. Clean and accurate. My only wish for the receiver would be: 1: Not have a proprietary FM antenna My reception is a little on the week side and I always used an amplified FM antenna to pull in a lot more stations from Philly, New York and Chicago. 2: Wish it have a PreAmp Out and Amp In connections so I could add my 10 band graphic equalizer to the system to further tailor the sound output more. But all and all for the price, this is a good system hub. 5 |

I have only had these a few weeks and am really enjoying them. I use them with my vintage stereo system, listening to streaming classical fm on my tablet, and monitoring music composition software. In all cases the sound is clean and crisp. Superb in every way. 5 |

I bought this about a month ago to replace a 34 year old (!) Sony Stereo receiver. The old one had AM-FM receiver capability. This one only has FM Receiver built-in, but it sounds a lot cleaner than the older model. This one has fewer output jacks than my older one, but is more than adequate for my setup (Sony Stereo Cassette Deck - going on 20 years now also !), and a bluetooth Audio-Technica Record Player. This model also contains the regular size headphone jack AND a standard audio output jack on the front for older style cassette players, walkman's, etc. Very unusual feature but useful for me as I still use some of that older gear from time to time. I primarily bought and use this product for its bluetooth capability which works excellently. I have my phone, and computer able to play music to it through bluetooth. I realize bluetooth specs don't carry the full frequency range for a lot of audio musical pieces (such as classical music), but for the everyday average pop music it's just fine. This is a great entry level unit for a person who is not an audio-phile. I also bought this because of Sony durability in its products. This thing is built like a brick. Good design accents, solid metal frame, heavy duty components. I will always buy Sony products - good balance between cost, design, and functionality. Couldn't be happier with this product. 5 |

This stereo receiver checks off all the features we need. The first selling points were the Bluetooth and FM receiver and the ability to connect to the room's built-in speakers in a small compact unit. It is a perfect size. 5 |

I hooked these up to a vintage stereo receiver and they sound great. These sound better than the original speakers that I had back in 1980.... Love these 5 |

I was looking for a receiver compatible with my "vintage" 1980's stereo system. This item was perfect for connecting my turntable, tape deck and cd player and it gets the best from the output of each. I do miss the function buttons on the front panel and the FM antenna is rather limited but it was an outstanding bargain meeting my needs. I do not regret this purchase in any respect. 5 |

Pros: + 320 ft/100m range + Three shooting modes + RF signal allows me to move freely away from the camera and not worry about maintaining line-of-sight with the receiver as you would with an IR remote. + Receiver can be used as a wired remote without power. + Receiver can be mounted in the hot shoe. + Removable/replaceable cable Cons: - Batteries in both transmitter and receiver are uncommon, so if they go dead during a shoot, I cant just go anywhere to get more. - Receiver has to dangle if the hot shoe is in use. - Retractable antenna may bend or break if not properly cared for. (I personally have not had any problem with this but it is something to consider with an antenna of this type) I primarily use my Canon Rebel T5 for taking photos of my theatrical design work. A remote shutter release is a necessity for me to reduce shaking in low-light conditions (even on a tripod) and a wireless one was a bonus. This shutter release was exactly what I was looking for. I can set up my camera in the spot I want and take photos as I walk around the space to view my work from different angles. Even when Im sitting next to the camera, I use this remote to help reduce shaking that becomes more evident with slow shutter speeds. 5 |
