... for my need of a frame that was more mid-century in appearance. 5 |

Love the mid-century look — Audioengine definitely put some thought into it. The lows and mids are wonderful and warm, the higher range is harsher, but seems to be mellowing out with more play. I’ve hooked up both via Bluetooth and through a preamp so I could listen to records with it…set-up on both counts was so easy. My records sound especially great. 5 |

Perfect fit for an AutoDesk standing desk. I mounted two side by side an they look like original equipment. These are not as deep as other drawers but then again those other drawers could not be mounted properly on a “Standing Desk.” Solid build and packaged well. Tidy's up my desk nicely. 5 |

I am in my mid thirties and have had everything from a vintage magnavox to a Rega. this turntable is so dependable, stylish, and well made that I can say it is the best turntable I have ever had. The sound is excellent and it really brings record listening into the 21st century. 5 |

Included are a pair of well made rubber speaker stands that raise the speakers a few inches off your desk but more importantly tilt the speakers backward. This points the tweeter upward toward your face. It does two things very well: it increases the brightness and widens the sound field. It is always a matter of balance between the tweeter and mid-range drivers in a speaker. The crossover circuit inside the speaker sends the higher frequencies to the tweeter (upper speaker) and the lower frequencies to the mid-range speaker (lower speaker). The engineer balances these two speakers to give the most accurate and pleasing sound. As you increase the volume, this balance can change dramatically in poorly designed speakers. These speakers were very well designed. They are neutral and natural sounding-not too bright and not too flat. By titling the speakers backwards, points the tweeters more directly toward your ears. If used without the stands on your desk, the speakers would be below ear level and may sound flat. The stands liven the sound just enough to improve accuracy. If the designer built the speakers with more treble' they would sound shrilly at higher volumes. You might think speaker stands are a luxury or not needed. Speaker stands are an important accessory to optimize sound accuracy from all speakers. Some manufacturers don't offer them - leaving the user to find expensive after market stands. These stands fit perfectly, are simple in design and improve the Sound. It shows the attention to detail from the designers who created the Audioengine A2 speakers. Highly recommended. 5 |
