Vintage Panasonic Portable Cd Player

I use this cd player when away from my tablet. It's much more compact and portable than way 2-way tablet with the cd-player attached.

I recently picked up a vintage Marantz CD player and needed new audio cables. I dropped in a local Bestbuy (which I NEVER frequent) as I figured it's just a simple RCA cable. It was like I broke the place. I got shuffled between 3 departments and in the end they didn't have a single RCA cable. I immediately, realized my mistake: I didn't go to B&H! Website had MANY options in stock, wanted a pros opinion, so I requested a callback which happened within 1 minute(!). Picked up the cable an hour later at the store. Cable was reasonably priced, superior quality and exactly what I was looking for. Morale of the story: If you want ANYTHING electronic, go to B&H. Skip the inferior box store, chains.

I use it to play a portable cd player and tablet with a audio cable and the sound is xlnt.

I bought my first pair in the mid 90's with the purchase of a Panasonic cd player. The sales guy was steering me towards these but I wanted to try other pairs as well and even pricier sets didn't sound as good. Fast forward 6 years, one morning I come into work and my headphones are a mangled mess on my desk - as it turns out they went thru the power head of the janitors vacuum cleaner! I went and bought another pair - hiding them in my drawer every night. some months later I decided to try out the warranty, sent them to Koss Canada with the required $5 and voila! a replacement arrived within a couple of weeks! I've been recommending these to everyone, also order a set of extra foam earpieces - cheerz!

Replaced our CD player and stacks of cd's

Used as an external/portable CD/DVD player/burner for several machines. Is instantly recognized by Windows 7 and is available for use in a matter of a few seconds after being plugged in. It needs two USB ports but no other external power source.

I have a one-year-old CD/DVD portable player and I wear hearing aids so I must use headphones when I use the device. However, the output of the player coupled with the weak output of my headphones was anemic. I decided to splurge and buy these and I can honestly say this is the best investment in ME that I've made in a long time. The description of this SONY MDR 7506 says it will provide a louder output than the less expensive headphones that I had been using, and the ad was correct. Instead of turning up the CD/DVD player all the way up and having to strain to hear much, I can now comfortably listen with the player output at half its output. I don't know how SONY did it but the sound is remarkable and very clear. Way to go BH for selling it. PW/SARASOTA Florida
