Vintage Phonograph Stereo Receiver Repair Montana

I hooked these up to a vintage stereo receiver and they sound great. These sound better than the original speakers that I had back in 1980.... Love these

I was looking for a receiver compatible with my "vintage" 1980's stereo system. This item was perfect for connecting my turntable, tape deck and cd player and it gets the best from the output of each. I do miss the function buttons on the front panel and the FM antenna is rather limited but it was an outstanding bargain meeting my needs. I do not regret this purchase in any respect.

Quality amp for the money! Great to have a phonograph input as well. Blue tooth is a surprise feature and much appreciated. Features like 5 inputs for tape decks, CD players and DVD etc... I like the remote control and its access to other menus. The only feature that disappoints me is the head phone jack. When engaged the speakers shut off. There should be an option to use with or without speakers. Lack of an AM receiver is no big deal as I seldom use. The only question that time will answer, how many years will it last? My old Sony receiver/amp just died after forty plus years but it lacked so many of today's extras as to be outdated anyway.

This was for a vintage tripod I had to repair. (Machined a new bolt and everything....) Works just fine and looks good, too. This is a surprisingly nice little ball head. It feels well made, and the screw knobs are comfortable to grip. It pans nicely, and the ball locks down firmly. The plate also allows a few cm of slide forward and back. The level on the plate knob is a good idea, going to have to test that on uneven setups eventually. My ONLY complaint is that the mark for rotation angle is on the back side, for me, if the knobs are on my side of the head. Not worth making a fuss, but it would be better placed on the other side. Overall, I recommend it.

I have a vintage (1978) amplifier whose preamp isn't working. A local repair shop wanted nearly $200 to fix it, provided they could still get parts. I bought the PP999, plugged it into a line-level input and started enjoying my record collection again! It works well and is very cost effective!

I'd been looking for a stereo receiver to incorporate with my existing sound system and this Tree Receiver fit the bill.
