It is great to know we can still use our vintage camera.

I bought this speedbooster to widen the field of view on my vintage Canon FD lenses that i'm using with the BlackMagic Pocket 4K. It works brilliantly and the lenses attach easily. The bayonet locking style is handled well with the open/close switch and you also have a screw hole at the bottom (or foot) of the adapter to add a support piece from SmallRig. Overall really happy with this, the optics look perfect.

I shoot professional real estate images and required a wider field of view for Sony FF emount. This lens exceeded my expectations for sharpness, microcontrast and distortion control. The feel to the lens reminds me of vintage glass I so enjoy using for street photography. The focus ring is so smooth, and the aperture ring works nicely-allowing for incremental and the option to "de-click" for smooth transitions for video as needed. Like my classic Minolta lenses, this is not a plastic lens. Metal and glass. Heavy. It should out-live me! On the Sony a7iii, colors are nicely rendered and mounts snugly. This lens is simply fun to use. On my wife's a6000 APS-C it works very well. I do note that when I put on a polarizing filter on FF Sony there is a tendency for vignetting (does not happen on APS-C crop sensor). Stopping down seems to make it worse. That is not unexpected with such a wide angle of view relative to the flange distance (how far the sensor lays from the edge of the lens). Super wide angle lenses are notorious for that. But the build quality and usability of this manual lens, which still communicates electronically the exposure data-EXIF (exchangable image file format) is a bonus in contrast to vintage lenses that cannot talk to the camera. In short, this is a well-designed and crafted super wide lens. Having used it for a couple of weeks now I am very satisfied with it.
