This camera has everything I need to produce high quality professional looking video. Auto mode takes care of the easy shoots, but manual mode really lets me control the look. Especially color tint and the ability to focus on one face anywhere in the scene.

I own three of these now and they never fail. By all means, this does the job. dual recording with auto leveling, take care of every situation you could imagine. not to mention, the quality is perfect for run and gun jobs.

Fast lens for use in low available light on a Canon Mark II 5d, but care must be taken with the auto-focus because of the low depth of field wide open at 2.8 - it sometimes locks on something in the foreground or background instead of the desired subject. The 24-70 mm range is perfect for family photos. It's heavy compared to Minolta lenses I use with a Sony Alpha 350, but this is a byproduct of its quality material and build.

setup was a breeze - I don't care about the 'auto' setting, so I turned it off. The only complaint I have at this point is that the status lights on the front panel are much brighter than they need to be. I haven't played with the audio options yet - this is for switching a 4K monitor between a couple of computers and (future use) one or two cameras, so audio is much less important for me

Apple keeps insisting in having proprietary connections, but the reality is that most of the accessories out there don't care about that. With this I can connect headphones or mics. It works, but did we really needed it?

Have a porta-brace case with ziploc bags inside? If you are going to invest in a nice case you might as well take care of your accessories and keep them in a PB padded bag. People will see that you care about your equipment and that you simply dont throw all your stuff into a big bag at the end of the day. If people see how much you care about your gear they might assume that the same attention to detail will go into there project.
