Viper Remote Car Starter Change Battery

All I can say is wow, this tiny lithium jump starter got what thought was a dead as a doornail car battery back to life

This wireless remote performed very well as a means of triggering a wedding photo booth. I used a Canon G12 Camera with an AC Adapter and disabled the automatic shut-down feature on the camera. Wedding guests were able to self-serve using the remote to take pictures at will. The battery life was good with hundreds of images made throughout the day, no battery change was required. The signal range was excellent without extending the antenna. The only design recommendation I would make to the manufacturer is that it would be nice if the battery on the trigger unit could be changed without a screwdriver. I imagine this has to do with the small (convenient) size of the unit. It's probably a worthwhile trade-off for the size, just remember to pack a mini phillips screwdiver with your extra batteries if you anticipate needing to change them.

It charges a battery using your car. Not much else to say.

Other than a jack, this compact jump starter is the number one item every car should have in it. Completely discharged my battery overnight, hot the"boost" and the car turned over immediately.

I love being able to change the battery and keep the finding going....

I've used the Vortex Viper HD 12x50's the last two seasons hunting mule deer in the west, primarily at long range. I've spent extensive time looking through meopta hd's, swarovski's, viper's, razor's, etc. These are every bit as good or better compared to the Viper HD's i've used the last two seasons and they are cheaper. Also, they are made in Japan vs. China (vortex). I'm happy with these so far. The only thing I don't like is that the diopter focus ring can't be locked in place like the viper's. Besides that, these are great!
