Vivitar Series 1 Digital Camera

This adapter fit snugly onto my Sony A7II, and the older Vivitar Series 1 lens fit snugly onto mount, with no wobble or play. Focus to infinity was no problem. Seems just as good as higher priced ones I have used. 5 |

Searching for a practical case for the new Leica V-Lux 3, as Leica does not offer anything except a too big carry-all bag, I carefully measured the camera dimensions. Turns out the V-Lux 3 dimensions are very close to the Leica M Series digital rangefinder cameras with 80mm lens. This case, designed for the M Series, fits PERFECT for the V-Lux 3. Velcro flap on the back includes pockets for digital cards, but too small for a spare battery. As I always carry a camera in a laptop type shoulder bag with other material, this lightweight, close-fitting neoprene case is ideal to protect the camera from impact and scratches when travelling. 5 |

This converter allows me to use my Vivitar macro lens on my new Nikon D7100 camera. I also have many filters for my macro lens so they now work with the Nikon D7100!!! 5 |

Considering the name vivitar from years gone by - was never the top brand but made its name present in the camera business. I bought this bag hoping that it would meet my needs but thinking maybe not. After I received the bag - this bag is great - the photo does not do it justice! I love mine! 5 |

You would think that a chunk of translucent plastic would be useless as an on-camera flash modifier. I believe this apparatus works as a light distributor in 360 degrees. I tested this product with both a Vivitar 283 and a Vivitar 285HV on a EOS 5D Mark III. It seemed to work best when I set the camera setting to Av mode at a set aperture rather than in M mode and let the flash do the work. Of course, using a slower shutter speed allowed the available light to "invade" the image and allow more "depth of field" with the allowance of light. In the Av mode, the shutter speed was slower, the IS of the lens allowed for a focused image, and that allowed for the exposure to be "perfect" if there is such thing. I cut my teeth on film and digital follows in the tradition of Adam's Zone System and everything works on digital as it did, does in analog. I was completely blown away to this fact. Enjoy your new toy. This is a PJ's staple for "controlled" flash light! 5 |
