Vivitar Series 1 Lenses

This adapter fit snugly onto my Sony A7II, and the older Vivitar Series 1 lens fit snugly onto mount, with no wobble or play. Focus to infinity was no problem. Seems just as good as higher priced ones I have used. 5 |

I am trying to use older Vivitar lenses with my current and future Canon camera's. Bought this as it bridged the gap between the cannon bayonet connection and the vivitar screw mount. Tried it yesterday and it works perfectly. The adapter did get stuck on the camera until I used something to grip the ring better....but that's just part of my learning curve. 5 |

This product performs exactly as advertised. I have used the product on several lenses which had no tripod support other than that supplied by the attached camera. The various adjustment features allowed fitting to all of the lenses. But primarily, I wanted a way to support an old Series 1 Vivitar zoom lens on a Minolta film camera. This particular lens, the first made by Vivitar, is extremely sharp, providing some of the best resolution on any lens ever made regardless of brand. Unfortunately, the lens does not have a tripod collar and is very heavy. The 293 Telephoto Support with Quick Release worked like a charm. 5 |

Feels very well-made. Works perfectly attaching my old Minolta lenses (and one Vivitar made for Minolta lens) with my Nikon D5500. Others have said there is no clicking into place, which in my case is not true. It's quieter than I'd like but there IS a click on mine when I put on both the lens and when I attach it to the camera body as well. Others have also said theirs were wobbly and felt insecure, but mine isn't like that. It feels quite sturdy and well-attached. Perhaps they fixed the problem, or others were unlucky? I don't know. Mine is fantastic though and performs perfectly. Absolutely love getting use on a DSLR with these 40 year old manual lenses. 5 |

Bought this adapter to see if I could use some of my old 35mm camera lenses (vivitar, etc) on my Canon T3i. YES! For $ I went from having 3 lenses to 11 - including some really good range ones like a 50-135mm zoom and a wide angle 20mm lens. Bought three more of these adapters after I realized how well it works. 5 |

The Vivitar 77mm Close Up Macro Lens Kit is a fantastic, budget-friendly option for anyone looking to explore macro photography. The kit includes four diopters (+1, +2, +4, +10), offering impressive image sharpness and detail when capturing small subjects like flowers and insects. It’s easy to use, with solid build quality and coated lenses that reduce glare. For its price, it’s a great alternative to expensive macro lenses, delivering excellent results for both beginners and seasoned photographers. Highly recommended! 5 |

I have Hoya filters on all my Nikon lenses. If you use Vivitar lenses, go ahead and use Vivitar or Tiffen UV filters. If you paid a small fortune for top-quality glass from Zeiss, Canon, Nikon, etc., I'd say it's definiyely worth paying a few extra bucks for Hoya. 5 |
