I am using this waterproof remote on my fishing charters. I have the camera mounted on the mast, and when the action heats up... I just push the button and put it in my pocket or setting it down knowing it is not getting messed up. My customers are so happy to get digital video of all their action. I reccomend this with the Pentax camera with the GPS.

I did not expect this much from an $ action camera and I can honestly say I was pleasantly surprised. When I received the camera the first thing that I noticed was the surprising amount of accessories: a waterproof case, 2 adhesive mounts, 1 extra backdoor with slits for sound recording, 1 Car mount/case (intended for mounting on tripods and cars. it has a clip on the back and screw holes in the top and bottom for mounting purposes), 4 different mounts for the waterproof case, 2 zip ties, 1 wall to camera charging cable, and 1 6-inch metal mounting cable.Most of the mounts are compatible with GoPro cameras. As for the camera, the videos look amazing. Contrast is a little slow but not a problem. There are many quality, sharpness, and contrast settings in the menu (which by the way is very easy to use). The outside of the camera is made of plastic but it does not feel cheap. The camera also takes time lapse videos and can act as a motion detecting security camera. The camera takes good still photos for an action camera but if you just want to take pictures not videos you should look into a different camera. Pros: Easy to use, good quality, so many mounts!, waterproof case makes for some amazing underwater footage, extra wide angle lens, time lapse, 95 minute battery life, good dash cam, can connect to pc and act as a webcam, does not feel cheap.Cons: 720P 60Fps is not actually 60fps. It is 30fps that doubles every frame. No slow motion.

Gopro hero 7 is one of the best action camera one of the best in video stabilization

I bought this camera for two things. To video dogs I was grooming and to video dogs I was training. I use these videos for training new employee purposes as well as for the customers enjoyment. I've already posted one on my YouTube channel. It does come with a non waterproof back to the waterproof camera case so you can record sound better. Perfect for what I'm doing. I'm not going to submerse the camera but it may get splashed a bit when bathing a dog. It should be splash proof even with the slotted back on it. I attached it to a chest harness while I was grooming and that worked out much better than a helmet cam would have. You can see clearly everything my hands are doing. And because it's attached to a chest harness it's right under my chin so picks up sound well. Surprisingly it was not in my way at all, although I looked a bit odd with it on. I would recommend this Action Pan Grip to anybody with a video camera. I've gotten some amazing shots I couldn't have gotten without it. Very durable and has a cold shoe adapter which is very convenient. Very fairly priced.

I just recently purchased this camera in hopes to have a video camera suitable for action. This camera has exceeded my expectations. Excellent purchase!

This is a great camera and it is so much cheaper then th gopro. This is comparable to the $ or $ gopro. I got this camera for action stuff, snowboarding, sufring, whitewater rafting, a few trips I am taking in the next few months so I wasnt sure how much I would actualy be using a video camera but wanted to get some stuff on vidoe. I was looking into a cheaper gopro when I found the sj400. There were some good reviews and B and H being so great I figured I would try it and wosre case return and get the gopro. well I am not returing it!!! I took it snowboarding and it took great HD video and handled the shaking fro snowboarding very well, I saw no reason to spend the money on a gopro. The instruction are not realy great but it is user friendly and pleny of videos on youtube to see. I would recomend this camera. I did forget to mention the sj4000 is compadable with all the gopro mounts so another plus.
