I am using this waterproof remote on my fishing charters. I have the camera mounted on the mast, and when the action heats up... I just push the button and put it in my pocket or setting it down knowing it is not getting messed up. My customers are so happy to get digital video of all their action. I reccomend this with the Pentax camera with the GPS.

I did not expect this much from an $ action camera and I can honestly say I was pleasantly surprised. When I received the camera the first thing that I noticed was the surprising amount of accessories: a waterproof case, 2 adhesive mounts, 1 extra backdoor with slits for sound recording, 1 Car mount/case (intended for mounting on tripods and cars. it has a clip on the back and screw holes in the top and bottom for mounting purposes), 4 different mounts for the waterproof case, 2 zip ties, 1 wall to camera charging cable, and 1 6-inch metal mounting cable.Most of the mounts are compatible with GoPro cameras. As for the camera, the videos look amazing. Contrast is a little slow but not a problem. There are many quality, sharpness, and contrast settings in the menu (which by the way is very easy to use). The outside of the camera is made of plastic but it does not feel cheap. The camera also takes time lapse videos and can act as a motion detecting security camera. The camera takes good still photos for an action camera but if you just want to take pictures not videos you should look into a different camera. Pros: Easy to use, good quality, so many mounts!, waterproof case makes for some amazing underwater footage, extra wide angle lens, time lapse, 95 minute battery life, good dash cam, can connect to pc and act as a webcam, does not feel cheap.Cons: 720P 60Fps is not actually 60fps. It is 30fps that doubles every frame. No slow motion.

I use this for video on my D850. 1080P 60 is acquired with no issues.

I've found this camera to be excellent. The video quality is in 1080p and there are a multitude of settings that can be applied to ensure that the desired type of video is created. Also, this camera comes with every type of mount you may imagine you'd use. Some of the other camera companies require you to purchase them separately. A great buy and a great alternative to purchasing a more expensive GoPro

I love it for photos enough that I'm still giving it 5 stars. For video, I'd give it 1 star. I bought this camera with the benefit of a doubt that I can use it for video on occasion. It was not worth the extra money. Being an owner of the GH5, I would never recommend this camera for someone looking to shoot a lot of 4K video or even 1080p video with it over something more dedicated. Canon Log, although 8-bit, is light years ahead of 10-bit V-Log L. You can really shoot with Canon Log all the time, and never have issues with pulling out good video footage. Try that with other log profiles and you're really asking for trouble. The biggest problem with 4K on the 5D4 is the rolling shutter. It's really bad. People's faces get wobbly for tight portrait shots. Couple that with the inability to handhold it because it lacks IBIS, you got a wobbly video camera with amazing Canon Log that only works in very select situations. The crop isn't too bad if you use zoom lenses, but if you use primes, it just doesn't make sense to bounce back from the crop factor. 1080p is very usable however put it side by side with the GH5's 1080p, it's a few generations behind in terms of quality. But if you don't do side-by-side comparisons, you'll be fine doing some occasional video work where there isn't so much movement and you need 2 stops of dynamic range.

Very solid camera! IQ of the 36mb sensor is superb. Not meant as a video camera (has 1080p). Also the, somewhat, slow 4.4fps does not make it a great sports or wildlife camera.

Got this to use with the ZOOM Q2N video camera. The 64GB should hold apx. 6 hours at 1080p. Works very well
