Vivitar Waterproof Camera Price

Loved this camera - terrific photos, rugged/waterproof as expected, killer price ...

It is waterproof, small, very useful when you want to be in the picture or not wanting to touch the camera while taking a picture. All this for $ bucks. What else can you ask for that price?

These vivitar filters do a great job of controlling light and at a very attractive price.

I use my Sony Alpha almost 100% for Video Production. With this rig my main market is producing video for the web for business clients. Right now, my budget for buying new gear is about as close to zero as you can get. I have several shoots this end of Summer/Fall season that will require multiple outdoor locations. A variable ND filter quickly became a necessity. At just over $17, the Vivitar I bought was at the absolute bottom of any price range I had seen, so I didn't have high expectations. One of the reviews I saw when reearching what to get, featured a 77mm Tiffen for approx. $150 as one of their lower end filters. They tested a couple even lower priced ones from brands I hadn't heard of which were under $100...but they performed unsatisfactorily and were punted. The Tiffen performed well against filters costing in the upper hundreds. I figured with such a low price on the Vivitar, if there were at least a couple settings within its range that looked okay...I'd be ahead of the game. For what I do...this filter is one of the best investments I've ever made. I mainly shoot @ 60P. With this filter attached...I shoot ISO 100 in Aperature Priority and then dial the filter in until I have a shutter speed of 125. It's resulted in lots & lots of useable footage. I imagine at some time I might delve into a higher quality filter but for right now...I'm not even thinking about it. For all the great looking footage I've already aquired at such an outstanding value, I give this Vivitar 5 Stars.

This waterproof is excellent. Is not intended for scuba diving, but if you need to take pictures in a pool or snorkeling you cannot get anything better for a lower price. One of the things I appreciate the most is that the front glass can be opened so you can insert the lens instead of trying to put the camera with lens through the main opening. I have used it even with a bigger DSLR (Canon 7D)Of course you cannot change easily all the settings on your camera but the difference in price versus a $$ hard case is worth it.

This converter allows me to use my Vivitar macro lens on my new Nikon D7100 camera. I also have many filters for my macro lens so they now work with the Nikon D7100!!!

I use this product with my two Vivitar 285HV flashes, which I bought on B&H along with this wonderful kit. Great product for beginners, you got everything you need for off-camera lighting, all you need to buy is to purchase flashes and wireless triggers. Get a bag for easy carrying. I have used this kit both indoor and outdoor. It is light-weight with strong brackets. Does the job. I wish they would have had larger umbrellas but with the price, you can't complain. I calculated each item separately and this kit could not have been of a better price value. You won't regret it, get it!

Using this product with a Vivitar flash. Surprisingly sturdy and made with quality parts. I am very impressed with this product and the price is great.
