Once I got it working, I love the sound it generates. I was told I could install with the HDMI cord provided but couldn't get it to work. Once I installed the digital optical cable, wallah, it worked. I had trouble with my last sound bar disconnecting from my tv. I thought it was the optical cable and was looking forward to connecting this new equipment with the HDMI cable. Unfortunately, I couldn't get it to work with my Vizio tv, even though Vizio customer service said it would work. Hope I do not have disconnect problems with this particular equipment. 5 |

About 6 months ago, I purchased a sound bar for my TV, but found it would not work with the HDMI cable, but only the optical connection. After some reading, I found that the HDMI cable had to have ethernet. The improvement with the new cable is more than I expected. The sound stays at a reasonable level and does not require constant adjustment. The unit turns on and off with the cable remote, so I could retire the TV and soundbar controls. I am delighted to have these improvements at a minimal cost. 5 |
