Vizio Sound Bar With Wireless Speakers

I had a Yamaha sound bar that I thought was good but this Vizio blows it away. The wireless back speakers a a big plus for me. Having to connect wires to the wireless subwoofer is no big deal to my set up.

We own several VIZIO products and have grown with the brand for many years. With each new unit, we're more impressed than the time before. Not only for the quality of the product itself, but the small details that go into the getting the unit up and running. The M512a-H6 sound bar with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X is the latest example. First, I want to point out the sound bar is more than just a bar. It's actually a bar, a subwoofer and two satellite speakers. But even the bar itself is more than just a bar as it includes upward facing speakers in addition to the traditional forward facing feature. This unit includes Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. We hadn't even noticed before that Netflix (and probably others) already support this more immersive sound experience. Technology will continue to improve with each new unit so it's no surprise that it's a step up from the sound system built into a television or even an existing sound bar. But what makes VIZIO products shine is that setup isn't difficult. Units are packaged with cabling labeled to reduce confusion and there are also removable pull-strips over the ports on the sound bar itself. You don't have to have an advanced tech degree to be able to set up this VIZIO sound system. If you want ATMOS and DTX:X audio this sound bar package packs it with nine speakers, yes 9. A great combination of sound bar speakers, remote subwoofer, and surround sound speakers. One more GREAT point to keep you reading…shop, find it, and be absolutely surprised that you can get this quality at that price point. So as you can tell I’m thrilled with this sound bar and my VIZIO TV. Plug and go. It’s that easy. I have been a fan of large speaker systems that take up a ton of room, wires everywhere because I wanted the sound that I thought you could only get from that setup. More good news. All the sound you’ll want you get with this setup. In addition one remote and a powerful remote at that. If you don’t have a VIZIO TV I read that this remote can learn your TV remote to keep you at 1 remote. Total control with the remote. You control left, center, right, sub, surround, height speaker, effects, equalizer, inputs etc. One really nice element is a remote with a display. Makes it really easy to understand and control your environment. There are some cool things I haven’t done yet. I have used by smart speaker to control things but you can also connect your smart speaker directly to the sound bar. Last the accessory package has everything you might need. HDMI, optical, wall mounts, etc. Ever buy something and then need to order a cable or HDMI cable, or something else. They even provided cable ties to keep your surround sound speaker wire nice and neat. Bottom line, you’ll be thrilled.

Loved my vizio but had an issue with the built in speakers but this sound bar is awesome. Boosts sound and gives your viewing a new experience.

i purchased this model because it was a Vizio product. and it was 5.1, why not get the best out of a sound bar with five speakers. being a non electronic understanding person, i trusted Vizio to make this process pain free. boy was i happy, this bar comes with everything you will need to get it going. you plug it in and it does the rest. i could not believe that it was that simple, quick and instructions easy to understand, i would not hesitate to recommend this sound bar. oh by the way the sound separation is great, the base speaker does a good job and the rear speakers (surround sound) hold their own. i had to adjust the volume so that they would not over power the sound bar. the wife's christmas present is one i will enjoy for a long time, :p

I bought this to enhance the sound on my Vizio tv in the bedroom. It performs exactly how I hoped it would. The surround speakers are small and blend right in but sound great! Same with the wireless subwoofer, which was the reason I bought this reasonably priced system--the fact that I didn't need to run any wires. The wireless subwoofer is located in the back of the bedroom and it is wired to the 3 surround speakers, situated on each of our 2 nightstands. Perfect setup and for a bedroom, it's just what we needed. Very happy about the purchase.

I love my new Vizio Sound Bar, for a small sound bar, it's BIG on sound the slim design goes well with the decor, I can't say enough about it, thank you Vizio.

Works as great as the old vizio sound bar it replaced

Any modern TV needs external speakers. Usually that means a sound bar. But Roku's Wireless speakers have the sound bar beat a mile. I have put those speakers through their paces, with Bluetooth connectivity, stereo pairing, the works. I bought these speakers because I wanted speakers that would fill a Great Room. Internal speakers on any wall-mount TV, even a 55-incher, are never adequate. (Nothing wrong with them, except that they're just too weak!) The new Wireless Speakers fill a room easily. They also deliver the richest sound, from bass to treble, I have heard in a long time. And that's even allowing for my family once using cabinet speakers as tall as a low-lying bookcase! These speakers work at least as well, or better. In fact the speakers delivered sound immediately. I briefly navigated to the sound menu on the TV to disable the internal speakers. I wanted no interference. Thus far I have had no issues with either the speaker pair or with the new Voice Remotes included with the pair. I am keeping the two extra remotes in the room as spares. (I was already using an enhanced remote.) The only issue I have is: could you publish a vocabulary of voice commands? Also: if I want to develop my own channel, how might I make it voice-command obedient? (I understand Roku has a support article on how to get started with voice commands.) I also have one more recommendation. One power cord for each speaker seems excessive. Why not supply a Y-type cord that can plug into both speakers, and then plug into a wall outlet? I used a six-foot extension cord to solve the problem of too many plugs and too few outlets.

Now I want a bigger TV and a bigger sound bar. Vizio products never let me down
