Vizio Voice Control Sound Bars

I’ve had a couple vizio sound bars, they seem to have better, richer sound than the other brands

I recently purchased my tv and I absolutely love it!! This is our 5th Vizio t v and we also have 2 Vizio sound bars.

While previously owning 2 other Vizio sound bars, this was my first with Dolby Atmos. The sound is great, but did need a bit of fine tuning to appease my ear. It wasn't as simple as turning the bass/subwoofer up and adjusting the other levels. It did require a tempering of front end sounds to achieve the bass and subwoofer feedback that I was looking for. Once dialed in, it was a solid experience. The one snafu that has come up is with the HDMI input. I have an older tv that did not have a ARC input, but when powering up the bar it defaults back to ARC leading me to switch inputs every time. Annoying, but workable.

This Vizio sound bar is really great! It has a very good range of sound and and provides clear voice which helps me to actually hear what the characters are saying in the movies. It was a very simple set up and looks very well matched with our TV set up.

So as you can tell I’m thrilled with this sound bar and my VIZIO TV. Plug and go. It’s that easy. I have been a fan of large speaker systems that take up a ton of room, wires everywhere because I wanted the sound that I thought you could only get from that setup. More good news. All the sound you’ll want you get with this setup. In addition one remote and a powerful remote at that. If you don’t have a VIZIO TV I read that this remote can learn your TV remote to keep you at 1 remote. Total control with the remote. You control left, center, right, sub, surround, height speaker, effects, equalizer, inputs etc. One really nice element is a remote with a display. Makes it really easy to understand and control your environment. There are some cool things I haven’t done yet. I have used by smart speaker to control things but you can also connect your smart speaker directly to the sound bar. Last the accessory package has everything you might need. HDMI, optical, wall mounts, etc. Ever buy something and then need to order a cable or HDMI cable, or something else. They even provided cable ties to keep your surround sound speaker wire nice and neat. Bottom line, you’ll be thrilled.

The Angler Sound blanket is well made, rugged, and versatile. I've used it to help control exterior sound for voice work, to block out light from windows, and to add extra protection to some of my gear in transport. The grommets make it easy to put up quickly and secure to a variety of stands. I've had it a few weeks and have used it outside and beaten up a bit and it still looks new. It seems like it will hold up well over time. I did some before and after tests with it for noise control and it definitely makes a difference in muting out some of the noises I was getting in the area where I was doing some voice overs. This is a good addition to my kit. (I received this item in exchange for my honest review)

The overall sound quality is quite good. I chose after rejecting a couple of other products. The range of reproduction is more important to me than volume, and most especially, the focus on bass. I still think this is too bass heavy. The control buttons could be more distinct. I'm not sure why they have been designed to so difficult to find. I'd like to have a simple equalizer choice... perhaps 4 modes... why not? It would be so much better product. Too much emphasis on waterproofing... can't Bose make a product that isn't necessarily meant to be dumped in the pool during an out of control party? The charging is much better than expected or discussed elsewhere. Uusally 2 hours, not 4. Very happy. What isn't tolerable is the choice to use a voice-based battery monitor over simple lights. It IS more definitive. But, the horrid female voice is cringe inducing... every time you turn this thing on, "she" announces your battery life and the connection, sounding like an addict about to retch. It is truly unbearable.

Easy setup, then you get rich sound that you can you can control. Two remotes with voice control. Simply the best speakers we could have bought for our TV.
