Vlog Cameras With Mic Input

I film live events using Canon XL2 cameras. The cameras are a great tool, but they do not accept line level audio input. It must be mic level. On one important shoot, I double checked with the audio technician if he would be able to provide mic level input. He told me that he could, but in fact he could not. I showed up to the shoot without audio tie in. I was forced to use my own mic system. At least I was prepared enough to do that. Never again. These little in line adapters do a fine job reducing line level to mic level without having to carry lots of other equipment.

This mic is fantastic for my vlog online. My viewers love the difference in my audio. Mic is cheap and has 20 ft. cord. Great for interviews outside. Doesn't need phantom power to operate. Batteries are the small watch type and a 3 pack is $ at @.

I own this video mic and the Rode NTG3. This is my go to vlog Mic and the price point makes it great choice. Audio is not prefect but thats why I do clean up in Audition. Super easy to use and awesomely compact!

I use the microphone to record episodes for my podcast and vlog. I love the look and weight of the mic. Not only is it gorgeous, it's extremely portable, and it connects easily and quickly to my laptop. It's simple to use and provides a great quality of sound. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for basic recording equipment at a good price.

First, my only real complaint with this camera is not having an jack for external mic. Other than that, it's a nice VLOG or BTS camera.

I recently started to record a Pilates and wellness vlog so I can upload them to youtube. I got a DSLR camera for it, but the sound quality from the camera sounded far and pretty noisy since I do teh vlog mostly outdoor. Adding the JOBY shotgun mic fixed it! My voice sounds even and smooth. I wish that mic was good for an iPhone too ( I received this product in exchange for my honest review) Adding the JOBY shotgun mic fixed it! The mic its self is quite big for my liking but the audio out of its is very good for the price you pay for it. If you are looking to Vlog or just upgrade your audio this would be a great item for you. I would not recommend this if you want a professional audio sound out of a shotgun mic, to that i would say get the pro version.

I like this bag. It is small and fits my vlog grip/tripod, ND filter, mic, and Xperia PRO-I perfectly. I will be travelling so having something I can put on my belt is ideal.

Must have vlog equipment!
