Vlogging Cameras Canon Power Shot

2024-09-17 05:45:47

My last two Canon Power Shot cameras developed bent leaf style lens protectors from putting the camera into my pocket when traveling. I was able to continue using them only by using a very thin guitar or mandolin pick to carefully raise the bent leaf. Telling me to not put the camera in my pocket was not an acceptable answer for me. I really wanted the Canon G7X mk II for it's fast lens and other features but another bent lens leaf, on a $700 camera was not going to happen. Then a great salesman at Houston's Camera Exchange told me about a push on lens cover that was supposed to fit the camera perfectly. I checked it out and voila! It fits snugly and stays on. Good product.

This will be used as a Becca battery for my canon G2 power shot. So far I like it it works well and the price was right.

I love Canon leather cases....used one for my power shot for 6 years and it's still in great shape. This case is cheaper than the molded leather one for the S95,and it's just as good.

bought two, because my I own the canon Power-shot SX60 HS , where the door for the battery and sd card, is near the screw for the tripod and could not change the Battery if attached to the tripod. the man at B&H , was a great help and figure it out for me , by buying two of theses , and putting them together, it gave me room to open the camera door, while keeping the adopter on the camera for the tripod. it was not costly at all, for about 14.00 each.. it saved me time in stead of taking the camera off the tripod and unscrewing the the tripod adopter along , well worth it.. .I love B&H and love the adopter.. but love B&H more...lol p.s also the adopter lies fate on the camera , to keep the adopter on it to sit flat , love it

I have a very old version of the canon power shot that has been with me on all my kayaking trips! Very lightweight...I am upgrading to get more zoom for those nature shots, and this camera is a dream...features just like a multi lens dslr. A little more weight than I would like but still compact to take on those out of the way nature trips.

I skipped the Mark II and hung on to my 1DX models. I'm sure the Mark II is a great camera BUT I'm glad I didn't get it. This Mark III may be the last of its breed, with all the mirrorless cameras, but it is obviously the best DSLR us Canon users have had in their hands in this lifetime. Yes, it feels and looks the same and for the most part it is what we're use to. I don't want to buy new RF lenses simply because of the investment I've already made. Most of my lenses have outlived 4-6 generations of cameras. Feels the same but it's still a learning curve with all the new features. So far I've mostly shot sports portraits as they're coming back from covid here in Texas. Shot volleyball action last night and will shoot football Friday Night. The focusing is so quick and fast it is amazing. The touch focus joystick isn't clicking for me yet although the live view action focus and silent shooting kinda shocked me. Wow! I shoot a lot and was amazed at the number of great shots compared to the IDX. Normally I'll get 3-400 good shots when editing. Last night my good shot count was twice my normal. Clear, sharp and beautiful images. I employ 7-10 photographers in the fall and they may have to step up their game to beat me. Thank you Canon!
