I have other Native Instrument keyboards, but I'm using this one more for when quick ideas come up. Sort of like a sketch pad keyboard versus a production one. Easy to carry any where, and setup is just plugging in the usb cable. The price is right as well.

It is an advanced processing signal plugin. Through complicated algorithms it is possible to identify, separate and isolate the reverberation and spatial component of a mixed audio signal. The result is impressive a more clear and more presence of the voice and the instruments. When you are working on tracks this plugin can modified the punch of the drums and increase the presence of the voice. In the bass and guitar tracks brings more clarity.

Mixes instrument, voice and monitor all in one. I plan on using with wireless IEM also for greater control.

I must admit, the first time I unboxed the instrument, I was amazed at the build quality. It has some heft, the keys are properly and ergonomically placed and you know Akai really took their time to perfect this wind controller. But as a long time saxophone player, the first time I actually played some scales, I was quite disappointed - it didn't feel like a saxophone. I was beginning to regret my purchase and thought about exchanging it for the WX5. So I gave it a few more days. Days turned to weeks, and I am beginning to appreciate this instrument. Keep practicing those scales, breathing with the mouthpiece and you realize how this is such an amazing wind controller. I made a mistake thinking that this is a replacement for a saxophone in an apartment situation. In reality, you should think about how this instrument can be an extension to your musical endeavors. The possibilities you can do with the sounds and playability are endless. There are a few usable synths prebuilt, but I suggest using the Akai EWI 5000 Editor to really play and edit your sounds then save it to the user bank. Also there are synths out there that can be used if you plug the EWI as just a midi wind controller; unfortunately you can't upload other synth sounds into the controller. Definitely give it some time to get used to the instrument especially moving from one octave to another. Keep practicing and you'll appreciate that there's hardly any moving parts here. I was opposed at it first since horns have that tactile and key feedback. But with the touch sensitivity, it really felt I was playing an instrument from the future. Again, you just have to get used to it - think about when mobile phones shift from physical keyboards to the modern phones we have today. And here I am today still keeping my purchase and writing a review. I thank Akai for making a top-notch wind controller and continuing the support for the modern electronic wind musician.

I purchase this item to better record my vocal and none electoral instrument. I was I amazed by how hoe crisp the sound came from my PC. I was so shock that I could not believe that that was my voice. Now working now confidence, learning how to get used to my voice which sound too sweet. The ladies will love it!! B&H partner in crime..

I do various recordings as far as voice, musical instrument instruction videos, music tracks for various clients. For a while, I've used the Blue Yeti and always knew I needed a better mic but didn't know what to get. Plugins in post can take you very far but, overall I knew I needed better hardware. This mic was rated very high for it's quality to cost ratio. I'm a saxophonist and I needed a large diaphragm condenser for what I wanted to do and this was at the top of the pile of my choices. It was a major quality increase. I paired it with a Focusrite 2i2. Very round and thick sounding. I've watched videos and comparisons It's response curve is relatively flat compared to the NT1-A. Also it's extremely quiet. I won't need another mic for quite awhile.

I use them with my laptop to listen music and videos. I love the sound, just enough bass and we can clearly ear each instrument and the voice and enough power to get fun. For the price I am more than satisfied but don't compare them with professionals speakers that cost thousands of dollars. Design is so so.

This microphone brings out all the subtle details of an acoustic instrument or voice. Although it has a cardioid pickup pattern, it picks up two voices very nicely on a video call, better than with a typical dynamic mic. If you want to be kind to your audience don't rely on the microphones built into laptops or video cameras. My Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 provides phantom power, monitoring and a digital interface with my laptop. I prefer a single audio interface with quality preamps over a mic with USB interface. The shock mount works beautifully. A pop filter is a useful accessory but not always necessary.

This Mic is really clear, picks up voice really nicely and with a wind-guard it's a great option vs. wireless mics.
