I had to replace the lav microphone for an Azden WR-PRO wireless mic pack (not the microphone's fault... it literally was trampled by the talent...). I tried some quick replacements while this was in the mail, but I was glad when the package showed up since nothing could match the sound of the original. It has great pick-up while also ignoring a lot of background noise, such as a busy highway or a crowded convention hall. If you have an Azden pack, BE SURE TO GET THIS MIC. If you get an electrocet mic that is powered by a battery, you get a bad buzz in the audio line. The only con I have seen is that the tie-clip included is a bit flimsy, doesn't really grip well and is easy to lose. 5 |

I bought this microphone as a replacement to the Sennheiser ME2 Omni Lavalier Wireless Microphone System and I have to say, it is amazing quality. I can't even tell the difference between the manufactured Sennhesier and this Pearstone. I use this microphone in corporate studio shoots, in house astrology horoscope shoots, and for weddings. Highly impressed with the sound this lavalier produces for its price. 5 |
