the box states it is plug and play with windows 10 but i had to download the drivers. other than that works great and it has the brackets for low profile installs. it has multiple network speeds including the now popular 2.5 gb 5 |

When I learned the Surface Dial can be used with my non-Surface Windows 10 PC, I bought it as a perfect solution to having a volume knob to mute and control the volume as I listen to video with widely varying volumes between program segments and advertisements. I already had the VLC media player ap installed on my windows 10 laptop, so when I plugged this into my USB port straight from the box, it was recognized and functioned immediately. If your computer doesn't have a driver, Transcend provides one free, but you must download one in order to use external drives--perhaps that's why some users claim their player wouldn't work? 5 |
