The Apple Wireless Keyboard is a convenient way of saving the use my keyboard on my Mac Book pro. I also love the grey steel color because it matches my computer. It truly makes a fashion statement. I bought the keyboard to save the use of my computer keyboard.

I have to tell you so many people are quite to put this presenter down because they say it will not work with MAC. They are completely wrong. If you know anything about computers don't always assume it will not work. You just have to make some configuration adjustments and it works fine. It's a MAC not a PC. So for those who have MAC and don't know what to do I give you some instructions below. The first time I plugged it in, a Keyboard Assistant ran since the Mac didn't recognize the keyboard. I simply quit the assistant, and there was no problem. The forward, back, and black screen buttons work fine on both Powerpoint and Keynote. However out of the box, the play button works on neither. With some configuration in the system preference, I was able to get the play buttons to work on both powerpoint and keynote. To configure Powerpoint for the play button, go to the Keyboard system preference and pick Keyboard Shortcuts. Then scroll to Application Then hit the + key to add a shortcut. Pick Microsoft Powerpoint for the application (you may need to hit Other... to find it, since it's in a subdirectory in Applications). For Menu Title type in, exactly, Slide Show (without the quotes). Then in the Keyboard Shortcut, simply press the play button on the remote. That sets the shortcut to F5, which is what the remote sends when you press play. Now the play button works for Powerpoint. You can do the same for Keynote, with the menu title Play Slideshow. you may have type in keynote in the search to find it. However after you do this Both will work fine. Also this works for the Logitech R400 as well which I would rate as a 5 star as well

I use this on a Macbook Pro and it works, mostly. With a little configuration, it works completely fine. Those who are quick to put this down that it does'nt work on MAC they are completly wrong. (And just a note you might have to type in the search to find keynote.app) Then all the buttons on the remote work on the Mac for both powerpoint and keynote. Enjoy and go buy it this is an excellent price

Paired magic wireless keyboard with my Mac AirBook which is mounted in a stand to use as a desktop. Love the feel and action of the keys. A nice upgrade from my last 3rd party keyboard.

My work (Windows) laptop is typically docked and connected to two 22" monitors, one VGA connection and one DVI connection. I have a Mac Mini as well, using the DVI input on second monitor (with HDMI to DVI converter). Was previously using wireless mouse and USB mechanical keyboard for the laptop, and a wireless keyboard/mouse for the Mac, switching inputs via the monitor menu. Too much clutter. Finally bought the KVM switch; should have done it years ago. Now I have just the wireless mouse, USB mechanical keyboard, and an easy push-button swap between Mac and work laptop. My only minor complaint is the 3-second lag when switching. First world problems. Graphics are fine for me, but I'm not pushing anything graphics-intensive on either machine. Overall, a wonderful addition to the home office to reduce clutter and make toggling between work and wasting time during work hours much easier.

This keyboard is the best! I still like wired connections and the keyboards for Mac Books are all wireless. I wanted something as close as possible, since that was what I was used to. This Satechi is it! Very quiet, similar touch and feel. The first one I had worked very well for a couple of years, till I spilled my tea all over my desk a few weeks ago. I am so grateful this Satechi is still available and I could get a new one! And so grateful to the B&H salesman who suggested it in the first place!

I saw Apple is unfortunately discontinuing the Space Grey Mac accessories, so I had to get my hands on the Magic Wireless Keyboard while they were still available. I quite enjoy Mac keyboards, especially for working from home. It seamlessly connects to my work Mac. The low profile makes it easy to quickly type. The Space Grey color is my favorite as it looks clean and for those that prefer darker colored accessories. If you can nab one, I highly recommend.

Great wireless keyboard for MAC products with number pad. Solar so no batteries needed. Worked right out of the box.
