I am using this on my Canon 5D Mark II with a RODE microphone. It is nice to be able to control the volume especially when I am at the drag strip using video to capture the launches from the starting line. I also have a Sony P70 camcorder which I plan to use it with as well. 5 |

I purchased 1 of each - Low Lid + Hi Lid . Please do see my other review on the Hi Lid one as well. This is lighter but in terms of the volume there is not much of a difference. Well built and sturdy with minor eccentricities around locks and back handle. 5 |
