Adds a new level of interactivity to racing and driving games that greatly enhances immersion and enjoyment. I have driven automatic cars my whole life, but for playing racing games or Truck Simulator I really like having the added control and activity that manually switching gears provides. Feel more like a racer or a trucker. Quality is great, feels heavy and solid and mostly metal. Mounted perfectly to my wheelstand pro with RGS upgrade. Quality and functionality-wise I've had no issues with this shifter, it recognized automatically in Forza Horizon 5 without any configuration at all, and was very easy to configure in Truck Simulator with an SKRS truck shifter knob on it. You do need to install a software driver when you first set it up in order for it to work correctly, but it's very simple setup. It is expensive for what it is, but I don't regret the purchase at all because of how much it has changed the way I play pretty much any driving/racing game. After getting this, my setup feels complete. Just a note on the seller: I never ordered anything from B&H before but I was impressed with the quick order processing and shipping. I ordered the product later in the evening of Dec. 12, and received the product morning of Dec. 15. Good experience, I'd buy from B&H again. 5 |

I brought two copies of this lens and test it carefully (VR off on tripod). IN the end the two are equally good. Enough said by others on how good it is, so I won't repeat, but I want to point out that if you are hand hold with VR on shooting at 1/500 or faster, you may get blur on one side, or the other. Some of the images with VR on shot at 2000 th a second on D300 has significant blur on the edges. turn off vr will get rid of the problem. Slower speed VR work fine. Since I have seen this with the old VR and both copies of the new VR, I conclude this is just what VR is supposed to be. Other than that the lens is very sharp. As good as my two 85mm f1.8 at f2.8. much sharper than the old version, and is at the same level as the 200-400 vr. With 2x TC III on there is No noticeable degradation image and that is very nice! 5 |

This is an amazing small Crushproof case. I would not want to test it with driving over it with a car but I would bet it would be just fine. I use this case for my RED Camera Mini Magazines. I needed to take a hobby knife to cut a few little parts out of the rubber insert but I have to say I feel fully confident when my Mini Mag's are in side. 5 |

In comparing the 18-140 to my 18-200 VR-I lens, I much prefer this new 18-140. I was worried I'd miss the 200mm, but the difference is hardly noticable - even in side-by-side test shots. This lens is almost exactly the same size as the 18-200, but slightly lighter. Overall very similar lens construction, metal mount, VR, etc. The zoom function is smoother on the 18-140 (more linear), where my 18-200 had a noticable ramp in the middle of the zoom range which was hard to smoothly zoom past. My 18-200 also had noticeable zoom creep when the lens pointed down, but the 18-140 doesn't have that, and even after the lens is used more and loosens up, doesn't seem like it will suffer from that issue. The zoom ring is also much wider on the 18-140, so easier to find/use. Some of these are smaller points, but combined, just make it more pleasureable to use the 18-140. Visually, the test shots I have taken are sharper with the 18-140 - especially at the 140 end. Most other characteristics appear similar. If you are researching which of these sister-lenses to get - choose the 18-140. It is better in every way I can see, and also less expensive. 5 |

I just recently took this out the airshow to give it a test run and other than it being a little shorter than I would have liked (not the lenses fault) it performed very well on my D700. You can see for yourself here: @The lens is light and relatively compact, it's the same basic size as the 16-35 VR so it fits in the same cases, which is super convenient. The lens extends when zooming, but that allows it to be compact at 70mm for storage. It's plasticy but feels well built, and again contributes the light weight. The VR is amazing, it makes the high frequency shake of your hands turn into a low frequency wave which low shutter speeds can handle.Good lens. I still may get the 70-200 someday but this one is performing very well for now. 5 |

I use this in a PC built exclusively to test VR builds for heavily modded Skyrim VR. It replaced a 5600X and the video card is a 3090. My headsets are a Pico 4, HP Reverb G2, and a Valve Index. The main difference I see is the low frame rate spikes from the 5600X have mostly disappeared but the headsets can still easily maintain their maximum fps. So this was a worthwhile upgrade for this system. 5 |
