I have to say.. I love Ubiquiti's stuff! Whether it's their airFiber systems, big network switches, or POE++ convection cooled switches, this company makes some awesome gear! These antennas (Dishes) are well made and a great design! Beautiful!

Right up front I am very happy with the Ubiquiti Dream Machine Pro and the associated accessories I got to complete the setup.  To round out the needed equipment I also got two nanoHD APs, one UAP-AC-PRO,  and a US-16-150W managed POE switch.  I am not affiliated with anyone in this business, and I personally purchase everything I own. Going to Ubiquiti was a big step for me.  At around 2700 sq ft my house is not that big, but I have around 50+ network devices and some of their their locations are at the extremes of the residence with some being outside.   I also have a Comcast Xfinity internet plan that provides for 600 mbps down and 15 mbps up.   I have tried three different high end mesh router systems (not Ubiquiti) and never quite got to the experience and performance I wanted.  I found all of the MESH systems a bit quirky regarding stability and hit and miss with speed.    My experience with the UDMP has been great so far (about two weeks).  I feel like there might be more to gain in the area of tuning, which is all part of the adventure, but if it gets no better at all I will still be very happy.  The system is very stable, has fabulous features, and gives me 300-500 WiFi speeds which is great. There are some caveats and potential downsides here that should be mentioned.  The UDMP is a great piece of equipment and is the heart of the Unifi network, should you choose this controller, but this is not a typical consumer product like an off the shelf router.  Do your homework before jumping into this, because there are several parts that need to work together,  a fair amount  of work putting it all in, and a bit of networking know-how getting things all configured.  Don’t expect any instructions or a user manual.  You might not know what to do with it out of the box, but there is plenty of help online.  For the technical go-getter with some time and money to spare you will have a really great system when it’s complete.

We run an enterprise network for 250 End Users with multiple applications and systems. These devices are a nice tool for the price to help monitor the network and give some insurance in case a power source fails. I have had 4 of these online for years. No issues. The display indicates the amperage on the bus, which allows me to better balance my loads. I know exactly what is on each of my UPS systems. The fail over is fast enough from Pri to Sec to not lose a load. The Net card also allows for environmental monitoring, Input monitoring and control, as well as Load Control for cycling a load when needed. You can also shed your load so critical systems stay on the UPS longer.

Use it for four Surveillance Network Video Recorder. works good and very easy to operate.

Use for balancing line level signals, and/or hooking line level mixers into house sound systems that take only have mic level inputs.

Use it to interface laptop audio to installed av systems. Usually expect to get a buzz when connecting audio and video (VGA) and ethernet - lots of potential ground loops. Comes with sticky-back 3M Dual Lock for mounting. Bought one, then 2 more, and I'll be getting more for my tool boxes.

Able to get work done and love the the tangle free. Use for faster computers and network with no bottle necking of data strength

Use for home network, including 5Tb of storage devices. Super easy setup, quiet, efficient, effective. This UPS saved my bacon within 48 hours of installation by giving me plenty of time to elegantly shut-down the system after a utility company power failure.
