Try to fit another shape onto that mike and you'll end up with an uncovered part of the mike;s head rendering the windscreen useless as is not screening any wind. This is the only screen that fits the microphone's head right. Pricey? Yes, and so are good UV filters on a lens. Expensive but they do the work.
