Wacom Driver For Touch Screen Monitors

I'm a graphic designer with decades of drawing tablet experience. The best tablets have been Wacom for build quality, feel, and driver reliability. This tablet replaces my Wacom Intuos Pro Touch tablet. The build quality of the Xencelabs tablet is on par with the Wacom. The bundled stylii and controller provide excellent versatility and much more performance value than Wacom. The Xencelabs driver adds a feature I've asked of Wacom for many years - you can save custom settings and even share them. There's no way to do that via the Wacom driver. I do think there's some room for improvement on the Xencelabs driver. I'd like better click and double-click sensitivity and better mouse mode handling of a dual screen desktop where one screen is landscape and the other is portrait. I haven't had time yet to delve into customizing the Quick Keys. 5 |

This is my first time with a Wacom Tablet. I have a IMAC 27 with 5k monitor. I've bee using the Mac trackpad for professional photo editing in Photoshop. I am still getting used to the switch to the Wacom tablet, especially two things: The touch control is sweet but a bit different than the track pad, especially having to remember to use three fingers to highlight multiple items and to move files/folders. The other thing that takes a while to get used to is the way the pen works. The pen position over the wacom tablet places the cursor over a relative position on the screen. (This is different than the touch feature which works the same as the mac trackpad). PROBLEM: the medium wacom tablet is so large that trying to use the pen to click on things on various parts of the screen often requires lifting my whole arm rather than just pivoting my wrist. I think the small Intous might be a better choice in this one regard. I now use my wacom to completely replace my mac track pad, except for a few things. With a little more practice I think the mac track pad will completely go away. 5 |

I used this mount for a trade show, mounting 100 lb touch screen monitors to wooden panels that were attached to framing hardware. The mounts were super easy to install, and robust enough that I didn't have any doubts that they would hold the monitors without issue. 5 |

Description: REVIEW UPDATE I am updating an earlier review in fairness to Wacom...You can read the original review listed later on: The problem I was having is now resolved. I did this by: 1) updating to the latest driver 2) I strongly believe part of the problem was bad sectors on my hard drive that I recently replaced with a solid state drive. ERGO...PROBLEM RESOLVED! Origianal review: 2/22/2018Driver Issue. WISH Wacom could FIX the problem!!!By KristinVERIFIED BUYERThis is my first tablet and have had similar problems as others have posted. I contacted Wacom on two different dates to discuss the driver issue. After making adjustments and insuring the driver was installed correctly there are still problems. Loading of the driver is inconsistent. If lucky all is well. If the driver does not load then here is my "work around" 1) Click on windows icon in lower work bar 2) Type Services into search bar 3) Scroll down Services and click on Wacom 4) Click STOP the service 5) WAIT several minutes and then 6) Click on RESTART the service 7) WAIT several minutes and the driver should load... ? I purchased this tablet to replace an older Wacom that no longer worked with the new OS driver. 5 |

I'm on my third Wacom tablet in about 10 years. Great for photo editing, and general use. Never use a mouse again. This latest updated purchase had me doing some research. When I assigned keys to the pen for Photoshop 2023, the assignment didn't take. I'm using mine on IOS Big Sur and the latest tablet driver put out by wacom is not compatible. I had to drop down to the 6.4.0-6 driver and all was good. (10/12/22 release date) If your still editing with a mouse, it's time to upgrade. 5 |

Only been using it for a few days and it's already so much better than the Wacom Intuos which has super buggy. And the wireless works like a breeze. Driver is easy and straightforward. 5 |

I use it most of the time in Lightroom. I hope that Wacom would fix the driver for smooth slider and curve control in Lightroom. Works great in Photoshop. 5 |
