Received my TS4 yesterday and got it all hooked up today. Everything works as advertised and it's wonderful to only have one cable attached to my laptop (2021, 16 MacBook Pro w/M1 Pro processor). Much cleaner looking setup. My external monitor used to lag when waking up, now it powers on almost instantly. I did have the problem with my external backup drive ejecting when waking from sleep but there is a workaround from the CalDigit site: Power your machine with the TS4 connected. Once booted, unplug the TS4, wait 3 seconds then plug it back in. You only have to do this once with each restart. I never shut mine down, I just let it go to sleep so this will not bother me much. They are working on a fix for it. 5 |

I could not upgrade the firmware from Godox through my windows 10. So after a computer professional looked over the situation said that Windows 10 would not recognize the upgrade due to the time Godox wrote the firmware upgrade. He used Windows 7 and the firmware upgrade worked. 5 |

After upgrading to Windows 10 my HP computer the built-in sound card stopped working and I couldn't find a driver to work with Windows 10, this small device was simple to install, just plug the device to a USB port and installed it's own driver automatically and it was up and running in no time. Worked perfectly and was super easy to break down into 3 separate volumes using Windows 10 Computer Management program. My choices were 2tb for General Purpose-2, and 5tb each for Back-up-1 & Back-up-2 5 |
