After a year of having this projector I can say that it is one of the two best home electronics purchase I have ever made (the other being a laptop from a well-known fruit company). Yes, it is pricey, but you get more than what you pay for: highly adjustable (those horizontal and vertical shifts are essential if you don't have a dedicated theater room and/or need to place the projector off-center), quick and responsive, great video quality (*at night; only ok in daylight, this is still a projector), best TV OS in the field, easy access to cinema mode, plenty of inputs… Best of all: the next time we move, I won't have to worry about breaking a 20-foot wide pane of glass. 5 |

I have a DS1511+, DS1817+ and now a DS1821+. See a pattern emerging ? As soon as I saw the ECC memory, I had to have it. I know what all the tech people say about ECC but when I switched to an ECC laptop 6 months ago, I can now run tests for days without it shutting down and the laptop never crashes. So with the old NAS, I have seen some bizarre data loss that I can't explain on the DS1817+ with zero errors indicated. So, I want ECC on my NAS too. Added the 10gb card, works good too but exposes the limitations of the drives you use with transfer speeds. 5 |

What can you say about tape? It's black, just like the description says. It's cloth and easy to tear. The first time I used it on wallpaper, it didn't hurt the wallpaper, which is nice. Read the description: this is only 12 yards, it's a mini-spool about 4 inches in diameter. Great for traveling, but not going to tape down a lot of wires. 5 |

This gaffer's tape is amazing. It is more durable than most tape and the adhesive is very strong, without taking off paint and wallpaper when you go to pull it off. And the price can't be beat. 5 |
