[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was not happy when Apple got rid of the headphone jack, and held on to my old iPhone as long as I could. Eventually, I wanted to update my phone to a newer version, which meant losing the headphone jack. That means I had to choose between charging or music, but this little piece of technology has fixed that! Now I can charge my phone and play music through my aux at the same time. First off, let me say I'm still not pleased with Apple for removing the 1/8 jack for headphones, but I understand why they did it to have better enclosed housing for the newer gen phones. With that being said, I've used 3rd party knock-offs of this adapter and to put it politely, they are s#@t. Just pay what Apple wants for this adapter and save yourself a lot of headache down the road, even tho it really is overly priced. 5 |
