This light illuminates a pretty large area for its size. It is really super light weight and well made. It runs on 4 batteries that are included when you purchase the light. Four replacement batteries are available (at this time) from B & H for $4.00. it is well made. You turn it off and on by just twisting the bottom section. It's not a cheap price for a flashlight, but you get what you pay for. I'm sure this light will hold up for many , many, years with no problems. I would definitely purchase this light again and recommend it to anyone looking for a micro size flashlight. 5 |

Good energy density. I always go name-brand with batteries, the one area where I don't buy off-brand cheapies. Can't say for sure with Sony, but I know the off-brand Canon batteries I've gotten from Pearstone were horrible. Horrible. And they don't have a chip, so the camera doesn't know when the battery is going to die and if it dies in the middle of shooting (mostly likely time it'll die), the clip you are recording is lost. 5 |
