These batteries are every bit as good as the equivalent expensive Canon batteries! They hold their charge for lots of shooting inbetween charges.

For years I bought the cheap camera batteries that claimed they were equivalent to the original ones. They never last and you end up recycling them after about a year. Never again! Pay the extra money and buy the camera manufacturer's battery that will last and last and last and not fail when you are ready to take that perfect shot.

I bought these batteries because of their d-tap output — Sony doesn’t have an equivalent. One battery lasted most of a day powering just my Sony FS5M2 — haven’t tried powering my Atomos Inferno and FS5M2 yet. I’ve learned through thirty plus years of full-time shooting trust OEM batteries more. Let’s hope these IDX batteries prove me wrong.

I had to watch a few Youtube clips to figure out the remote and technique and workflow for good time lapses. Overall its a simple easy to use set up well made rail and I am happy with it. My only annoyance is some of the settings have to be redone if you power off . Example if you forget to reset the start stop positions and don't watch it complete the sequence you find it tying to drive though the end stop with the belt slipping and if its not switched of damage to the pulley and belt. It really should loose 1 star for that. They do have a spare belt included. A pleasant surprise is the battery life is great and the batteries a common fitting so I can use Sony style batteries from my LED light.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We put the batteries in and were able to watch TV no set up required we love it! It was nicely packaged using non plastic wrap around the remote very impressive. My 4 yr old granddaughter's using it now.

Simple and solid, I like it better than my Manfrotto equivalent.

Not all pouches of this style are equivalent. This is a good one.

Very solid and not much more than Hoya equivalent.

It is nice to use. Good 40mm equivalent.

Works just as well as the Nikon equivalent
