Watch Plex On Portable Projector

Been great for just media. Expensive Plex Server, but oh well. Have family from all over that can watch stuff. Been great. The transcoding is fantastic.

Great portable projector under $1000

Super happy with this so far. We mainly needed a good portable way to have our plex library to use on the go when camping without internet... this works to be a plex server and plex viewer/streaming all in one. We can watch our series that we ripped from the dvd's and not skip a beat. Also connects to all our subscription services as well. It's super fast and smooth. I was also surprised at how small it is. Not much bigger than a standard roku. The remote can be setup to completely control our tv as well for volume and power. One remote to do it all. Overall, super super happy we invested in this. Well worth the price.

This projector was exactly what I needed for my new classroom. Nice and portable and really bright.

This projector is an amazing little device. I use this projector to watch my DVD collection that I have saved onto my computer. I use the microSD card capability as I find it to be the simplest method of viewing a file. I've tried projecting onto both a wall and a screen and they look great. Obviously it's not the same quality as a full blown projector or an HD TV, but that's to be expected in a device this size. The video was crisp and bright, and was even better than I had expected. The built in speaker works great for a small environment like in the bedroom, but if you're going to use it on a larger scale, you can hook up any speakers that use a headphone jack. You'll also want to be near a wall outlet as the battery only lasts about 60-90 minutes on full brightness, (though there is a lower setting). All of the friends that I've shown it to are amazed. I enthusiastically recommend this projector to anyone interested in a pico projector.

I bought this sound ban to complement my projector which doesn’t have any volume to watch movie and I am glad that I did. Now I can enjoy its sound quality with my phone, computer, tv or projector.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm getting ready to move cross country. I wanted a television that was affordable, portable, and compact. I found the Freestyle Gen2 projector. From the first use I was hooked and love this way of watching television. Currently, I have the projector set up in my bedroom. I love the fact that I can watch it on any wall or even the ceiling if I choose. I love that I can make it as small or large as I want. Another feature I love is that all I need is an internet connection to watch all my streaming services such as PRIME VIDEO, DISNEY+, PARAMOUNT+, and a wealth of free TV and I can also listen to my music all from one small device. I absolutely love this device.

I use this projector and an old fashioned slide projector screen to watch movies, YouTube clips, and news in my living room, connecting my laptop to the projector with a separately sold HDMI/HDMI cable. Right out of the box without any adjustments, the images had beautiful contrast, resolution, and color tone. Quiet machine while it runs. The brightness is not quite as powerful as projectors one would find at a school or workplace, but I still could enjoy a show just fine if I closed the drapes on a sunny day. At night, it gives a great cinematic experience. Haven't tried its audio system yet because I have a bluetooth speaker I like, but I read that this projector has nice sound. I am a community college lecturer who, due to the nature of my job, hops around a lot from class to class, or even school to school. Unfortunately, not all the schools and classes are equipped with fancy big projectors its sometimes even lucky when you find a class with actually WORKING projector! Well, in this regard, this Laser pro has been a great boon for me no more fearing lest the projector in my next class might not work, no more asking some tall student to turn it on for me(kids usually giggle when it happens) And I can watch movies at night with the same projector even watch youtube Netflix everything. The quality is outstanding too. So I am really satisfied.
