Watch Surveillance Ip Camera Online

We have purchased two of these so far to use primarily as NVRs for a large number of IP cameras on a school campus. Licensing costs aside, Synology Surveillance Station does a really nice job making it easy to set up and scale with the number of cameras you have. We linked two together, making one the primary and the other a secondary target for recordings. Surveillance Station records direct-to-disk, and does a decent job of adjusting camera settings directly using ONVIF. We have about 50+ cameras running at resolutions from 1280x720 up to 2560x1600, some PTZ, some ceiling-mount fisheyes, mostly wide angle fixed, and everything works pretty well. We were even able to use the manual camera configuration to use some uncommon double-lens cameras. With about 26 cameras assigned to each RS422+, we see about 20-25% CPU on each on average during a typical day. We can comfortably handle 32 per unit, and supposedly up to 40 if needed. With x4 6TB drives in each set in SHR-1 (equivalent to RAID5) we have about a month or so of footage retention. The licensing is a little pricey at $50 per camera (unless you buy in bulk from some european IP camera shops...), but it is perpetual and I think worth the expense. Using two of these units, 8 cheap drives from eBay (luckily these do not suffer from the Synology whitelist) and a bunch of camera licenses, for around under $5000 I was able to build and set up a really easy to use and reliable NVR system with plenty of future expandability. 2-3 users are regularly connected on their desktops without issue.

There are lots of free applications for IP Cameras, but if you're serious about IP Surveillance you can't do better than Axis Camera Station, and the best way to acquire the licenses is from B&H.

I bought these to primarily do surveillance but also use them to watch the wildlife that roams behind my property. They truly are amazing. I love the adjustable eye-relief which I change depending on what pair of sun glasses or regular glasses I'm wearing. (Also if I'm not wearing any glasses.) The light the glass lens lets in far exceeds the light of another pair I have which is a different brand. These are my first Swarovski binos and I'm sorry I didn't get a pair sooner. You feel completely submerged into the landscape when you're viewing through them because the field of view is plentiful. I did buy the extra forehead piece which I would have liked to see included with them. Although it's a pricey add-on, they work great and it's very easily adjusted. I really like the neck strap that comes with it too. It's very comfortable. I'm taking these with me on every trip I go on now. They are that spectacular.

This my first action camera. I did not want to spend hundreds of dollars for a camera that I would not use all times. So this camera is reasonable priced and good quality. I can not compare with the high priced ones, since I did not had one before. Has a lot of accesories that comes with it. I used it under water and had no problem. Nice shots without leaking. The only con is; with the waterproof housing the sound recording is poor. If you wants sounds to be heard on playback you have to take out from the housing or replace the back lid with the supplied other lid which has apertures on both sides to let the sound in. Used this camera on the back of our Golden Retriever. It was fun to watch the recording. Easy to put back of our dog with the harness which came with a bunch of other accesories that I bought online from a known online store. Wifi connection is so easy to setup. Very easy to watch on iphone or ipad. Also very easy to remotely control the SJ400. The menu is simple enough to manage the camera. The battery life seemed to be ok for me, since I did not use it for a extended time for recording. The most I used for an hour and it was more than enough.
