I’ve had a number of Boox products over the past couple of years, but this one has pleased me the most. It’s light weight, has a 300 ppi screen, and (because there is no front light to keep running) it has good battery life. The lack of self-illumination might throw some people off, but I rarely write in locations where there is not enough light to see the screen. In practical terms, that means you can have longer sleep and shut-down times. The screen is responsive and works with every EMR stylus pen I’ve tried it with, including a few Samsung S-pens. The 10.3” screen is much nicer for reading, and if you use the Kindle app, your reading will synch with other readers that can access WiFi. I sit it on a book stand so I can read and breakfast and lunch. My first test was a 1 ½-hour Congressman’s town hall a couple of weeks ago. Just seat and no tables or side arms – just me in a folding chair, and it was just fine. Folios and covers are a little scarce so far, and I got the Boox standard folio. As other brands come on the market you may want to be wary about their magnetic sleep/wakeup feature. Too strong a magnet and you can get interference to the EMR pen and end up with bent lines and goofy or incomplete letters. With all that in mind, I’m using a padded cloth zippered slip cover to tote the Go 10.3 around in its Boox folio. I’m hoping that Boox will make a 7.8” version of the tablet. 5 |

I'm a theatrical set designer and I use this 10.3 mil thickness to print scaled Photoshop images. Then score, cut and glue them them to create theater set models. I love this paper for this task. I have tried so called 'comparable' papers and they weren't ! 5 |

I have run my Forza 720B on this stand at the full 10.3'. Flexes a bit but no more than the Matthews Combo Black Aluminum Stand. Both stands weigh about the same. Difference in price is almost $100 and I feel build quality of the Kupo is just as good as the Matthews. I also bought the Kupo Baby Kit Stand with Square Legs 13'. I do wish this stand had square legs. I feel both the Kupo and Matthews would benefit from them. The Kupo also is rated to hold 1.5 pounds more than the Matthews. I will be buying another one. 5 |
