This lens performs so well in so many applications....from action images to close-up images of insects. The image stabilization of the lens was definitely beneficial when shooting from a moving boat. As a person that so frequently sways even so slightly when capturing images, the OIS is a great attribute of this lens. Debated between the 100-400mm and this lens and for my needs it performed flawlessly. I was not disappointed in my decision. 5 |

I have been using this lens to take photos on the water of sailing events. This lens allows me to get really close to the action and the image stabilization reduces the number of bad images. The depth of field on this lens is great, allows crisp focus on subjects at great distances. 5 |

This is a very well constructed lens, with good image stabilization and smooth action on both the focus and zoom rings. The image quality is as high as you'd expect from a Canon lens. About the only con to this lens is that it is quite heavy, but that is due to the sturdy metal construction of the housing. Definitely recommend! 5 |

I am using this waterproof remote on my fishing charters. I have the camera mounted on the mast, and when the action heats up... I just push the button and put it in my pocket or setting it down knowing it is not getting messed up. My customers are so happy to get digital video of all their action. I reccomend this with the Pentax camera with the GPS. 5 |

This camera is so neat. The stabilization is pretty incredible. Love the magnetic action. I was able to mount it on my car on the roof with the magnet and control it with my iPhone. Easy and great images. 5 |
