Waterproof Camera For Kids Review

This is the sixth waterproof case I have purchased. I gave them to my kids & nieces. This last one was for me as I put one in my pre-packed travel. I not only fit my phone but put my room key card and some cash in it. It all stays dry.

It fits easily in a pocket, light for kids to handle, it's simple enough for them to use (on auto) and get them to enjoy taking pictures during our outings, yet it has many featues we, adults, can use to have a little more control. I am in no way expert, but I did appreciate the zoom and the option to keep the camera either on auto, or on any mode it offers, which offers more freedom. The zoom is powerful, but seems to give less than sharp images when used to its fullest. The camera comes with a menu that displays on the camera's screen, which allows you to play with all the different settings, and there are quiet a few. You can take selfies, which my kids discovered first. We don't have a need to transfer the pictures to our phone, but it is an option if needed, and easy to set up from the camera. I was surprised to realize, only after a few weeks, that this camera has no viewfinder, which I obviously didn't miss. It did not come with a cable to connect to a laptop or comptuer, nor did it come with a card. Just things to know.

It’s has a great picture, and zoom feature, as well you are able to move to view while checking the camera/looking. Easy to set up, use and for the price each month to storage etc. it’s worth it and way cheaper than others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The camera was incredibly easy to set up. I absolutely love how it is integrated with Alexa so it doubles as an additional speaker for my kids to listen to music. The app is very user friendly, so it is easy to check in and see what the camera is picking up. This would have been an amazing baby monitor if I had it when my kids were babies! Since we are past that phase, we have it in our living room facing the front door so the kids can enjoy giving Alexa commands through the camera. The picture is clear, and I especially love that I can move the camera around 180 degrees from my app. The siren that you can execute is startling, which would be beneficial in the event that it was truly needed.
