Waterproof Camera For Sailing

Fits my gopro camera and waterproof housing.

So far it's smooth sailing, small but very mighty!

I have a sailboat and if I want you shoot some video with my camera there is always some, or a lot, of wind noise. It's no longer sailing season, but I checked out this external mic on a windy day. It worked very nicely! I'm glad I purchased it from B&H Photo. : - )

I bought this for my son to use for his GoPro camera and mounts. He's on the university sailing team, and has now taken up kite surfing, so the Pelican is perfect for protecting his gear. I've been a professional photographer for over 40 years, and in that time have used Pelican cases to protect my cameras on trips to four continents. TGhey are, quite simply, the best!

I use it when sailing, doing sports work etc, Fits snugly to camera and provides very good protection. Easy to install on and off camera so that you don't have to leave it on all the time. If you are not going to leave it on, get the detachable Canon neck strap. Control buttons easy to use. Rubber is not the sticky kind. It feels a little slippery at first(you adopt to it) but I prefer that than having the gummy feeling of other makes. Reasonable price to protect your investment.

The camera takes great action video. I use it on my iceboat, sailing at hi speed. The price was the best price I could find, and delivery was super quick, as promised.

I use the camera for take shots of flowers (close-ups) and I take the camera sailing with me. Easy to use when underway and the Image stabilization is great!

This camera has a clean look and a simple layout that makes learning more about photography smooth sailing. The grip fits perfectly in my hand and surprisingly the body is very light weight. The lens is a dream but also adds quite a bit of weight when using it. Overall I am quite pleased with the performance of them both so far.
