Waterproof Camera Housing Bag

Fits my gopro camera and waterproof housing.

This accessory was necessary to use the camera with the mic. It should be a choice to purchase a GoPro package with this housing OR the waterproof one which I will most likely never use.

I love this waterproof housing. It enables me to remove and secure my GoPro with ease, while keeping the housing mounted on the motorcycle. It makes it easier to clean the bug off without damaging the lens. Since the GoPro is waterproof, I use it with the open back to ensure the camera stays cool. Only negative take away is I would have liked to have the option of a pass through for the cord to keep camera charged while on the road. Now if they would make one for the GoPro 11 Mini.

I needed a waterproof storage/travel case for an Ikelight underater camera housing that could take the abuse of an active SCUBA diving environment. This Pelican is large enough for the camera, and all components, and when well packed, can accomodate the camera as well. It's large, but is the best size I could find that would accept the Ikelight housing. Spend the extra money to get the spacers instead of the foam cubes - you'll be happier. So far, it's doing a great job.

The strap is installed in my Pelican1490 case housing a macbook pro. The instructions coming with the strap are great... however the 1490 comes with waterproof rubber grommets inserted where the strap holes are on the side of the case. They are very snug and not very visible at first. You must push them out from the inside of the case with a screwdriver to remove each one out to clear the hole to be able to attach the waterproof strap hooking device. The instructions to do all this are absent with the case and with the strap. It's left up up to you to figure this out...Nevertheless, it's easy, and fast, installing the strap.

I bought this case for housing my bodies and lenses more than for traveling. It's dust and waterproof and built like a tank. That's what I wanted - a vault to protect my gear from dust, spills, etc. It's deeper than the less-pricey models from SKB and quite heavy. But it has wheels and a handle for ease of moving. This model has movable dividers for easy customization. Four double-click latches secure the lid, which can be secured with a third-party lock. This case is substantial -more so than I expected. But I am thoroughly happy with it.

this case is the perfect size for my gopro in the waterproof housing, plus the frame housing, four spare batteries and the dual charger with the micro usb cable and the usb wall outlet thingy. all of that fits in there like a tetris game. love it.

Used this product in the WP-DC28 Canon Waterproof Housing on about 18 dives. I found the moisture munchers lasted about 3-4 dives and I was probably throwing them out too soon. I would discard when they turned purple not pink.

Very nice case. Very solid and well made. Totally unnecessary for the Canon G1 X waterproof housing as recommended. The im2075 is a much better fit. Still, if you need this size it's a great case. I might even keep it despite not using it for what I'd intended it for.

Even though the Hero 10 is waterproof, I still purchased the protective housing to go snorkeling whilst on holiday. It's a excellent piece of kit. I would highly recommend getting one.
