wanted to ease into macro photography and for the price, this set seemed like a no-brainer ... came well-packaged with front/rear caps ... noticed a little play between the 3 pieces, but none between the camera/tubes or between the tubes/lens ... with all 3 attached to the 50-500mm, the min. focusing distance was greatly reduced to about 1cm instead of the usual 50-180cm ... the resulting photos blew the usual 1:3.1 ratio out of the water ... if you're trying to get into macro photography, this inexpensive set will allow you to try it out ... photos are straight out of camera -- costume jewelry and stamps 5 |
