Waterproof Cameras For Bore Holes

Love the reel. Needed to bore out the holes a squinch to fit my finished BNC SDI cable through. Not a problem, still was reel-y awesome! 5 |

They thought of everything with this design. They are waterproof, The bottom has a waterproof gasket as well, They have machine screw holes to fit most cameras (and they give you the screws), the cover has a steel "hang wire" so you can suspend the camera while plugging it in, and the boxes are stack-able, meaning that the mounting holes on the back line up with 3 of the camera mounting holes so you can collar the boxes to get lower past your gutters if necessary. There is a wire access threaded cutout on the back and 2 through the side for universal access. Great design. 5 |

I bought two of these, the L-plate version for my Nikon Z-50, and the I-plate version for my Nikon Z-fc. They fit my cameras very nicely, and since both of these cameras come with nice, thick triangular split rings, I did not use the ones provided with the Micro Clutch. (The Nikon split rings are thicker. There is a little plastic thing on the Nikon split rings that you have to pry off to allow the strap to go through more easily, but that plastic thing is not needed. It just keeps the triangular ring from rotating during use, which the strap also accomplishes.) I love that Micro Clutch is designed to be tripod compatible so that you don't have to totally switch accessories to go from handheld to tripod use. It also does not add a lot of bulk to the camera, so the camera doesn't have to take up extra space in a camera bag. I have small hands and really appreciate the adjustability of the strap to fit the user's hand. The numbers on the adjustment holes are really handy. I will say that the adjustment holes are a tight fit, trying to slide the holes in the strap over the little peg. That was the trickiest part of installation for me. However, I mostly consider that a positive. If it is hard to get the peg through the holes, then it will also be highly unlikely that it will come undone on its own. Plus, if it is adjusted to fit my hand, there is no need to ever readjust it unless I'm handing my camera over to someone else to use. I will be using this along with a Leash, Cuff, or Slide Lite strap for extra drop protection. 5 |

We mounted BlackMagic Design Micro Studio G2 Cameras with long lenses and it balanced well with sturdiness. If you are mounting the bracket to a stud behind sheet rock—be advised that the 4 mounting holes may be too wide and limit you to using only two holes upper and lower. 5 |

On cameras (of course), backpack zippers, keychains, gimbal handles, phone cases (that have loop holes), etc. So secure & convenient! 5 |

I purchased this case along with a Canon XA10. It is a very sturdy case, with a comfortable handle. The precut foam is easy to shape to fit your gear however you want. It has holes for locking it with your own padlock, and beside the two locking holes are two spare holes which I put small clips on to attach gear that wont fit inside. This is a handly case for video cameras as well as still cameras. 5 |

I build homemade trail cameras and these work great. The waterproof case is the most important to protect your valuable camera. 5 |
