Waterproof Ccd Car Rear View Camera

I also picked up this camera for the rear of my car and it nice and compact enough that you can fit anywhere.

This is my second dash camera from Garmin. I use it for a rear view. The size is phenomenal. It doesn't attract attention. Very good software. Voice commands are very well designed and functional. It syncs with the front camera and works very well with the parking cable. The image quality is pretty good.. Higher resolution would require a lot more disk space.

Been using the X1000 front and rear cameras for a few weeks. Very pleased with the video quality and ease of downloading onto computer for viewing. As a senior citizen (70+) it was easy to start using after the professional hardwired installation. The few questions I had, Thinkware customer service answered very quickly for me via email and chat. My car already has driver assist features so I am not using those features that come with this camera. I wanted the video quality to be super in detail, sharpness, lighting, etc. so I could see as much detail as possible. This camera delivers on those needs. Love the parking recording feature. Liked it so much, that I just ordered another camera for our second car.

I purchased this to protect my CCD camera that I use for Astrophotography. It is an extremely high quality case with foam inserts that allow you to customize it so everything fits perfectly. The handle has a rubbery feel over it giving you a very solid grip. This is a top quality customizable case. If you have something you want to protect that isn't *extremely* heavy, (say greater than 25lbs) this is probably the case for you. What I mean by extremely heavy is not the case can't handle it. It's more that the foam might not be firm enough able to handle the weight.

This rear cam is small enough to not interfere with your view out your back window. The picture quality is great!!!

I needed a waterproof cover for my Sony FS5. The pictures do not do it justice. It fits very well - a little oversize if anything. But the number of opening surprised me. There is a hook and loop opening on top that allows you to grab the top handle which is useful if you want to leave the Rain Slicker on before/after the rain. There is a zipper that gives access to microphone attachment. A hook and loop opening is available on the grip side of the camera, yet sheds the water with or without your hand on the grip and allow easy access to the grip controls. The other side has two clear plastic windows that afford a view of the control side of the camera and the LCD Screen. Hook and Loop allow you to tent the opening for the LCD screen to keep water out yet provide a clear view. Finally there is a h&l opening on the back to allow access to the battery and connectors (SCI, HDMI, etc) on the back. There is even a flap of material that allows a microphone to be open in the front yet protected from rain. This flap doesn't extend past the lens so you may have to move a shotgun mic back. The only negative I've found is the elastic opening for the view finder doesn't grip the eyepiece very well. If you have the large eyecup mounted it will hold everything in place but without the eyecup the cover will not keep the eyepiece held in place and you have to make an effort every time you want to look thru the view finder - but it does keep it dry that way. All of the opening are designed in such a way as to shed the water around the openings. I haven't tried it in blowing rain but I bet that you could adjust the opening for a tighter fit. The material is a heavy duty waterproof canvas that isn't going to tear or wear with normal usage.

Please make products that are washable and waterproof. I like to carry my case logic everywhere with me.(in the car, outside, by the pool). The nylon? fabric seems washable(I have tried), but customers need to be sure. I want a CD wallet that can be washed with everyday clothes and put in the dryer also. If you want to make wallets in many colors fine. I will always prefer your basic black nylon? fabric 32 Capacity Classic Wallet.

It’s a case. You could crush it if you stepped on it, or ran it over with your car. It’s the perfect size for 1 GoPro in its protective waterproof case, the handler, the dual charger, 2 enduro batteries, 2 charging cables.

This is a great product at a more than fair price. I believe it is waterproof, and I believe you could drive a car over it and not damage the case, certainly not the cards. My only worry now is having 8 64GB cards in one place! I'd recommend it.
