I replaced my old stereo/cd player/big speaker unit with the sleek Sonos 5. No more messy wires, no loading/unloading cd's, just choose a playlist from my computer or tablet and go. I haven't used any streaming music services because I have so much music loaded onto my computer, so can't comment on that aspect. But I was pleasantly surprised with local radio availability. The Sonos 5 is more than enough for my smallish house. I love it. 5 |

This speaker was a great purchase. Besides its beautiful shape and blue light button, it fits well underneath a computer monitor. You can connect it to a multi USB port or to your computer directly. In my case, I have a portable CD player and I was looking for a speaker to connect it to. Amazingly, this speakwr works well with my oortable CD player and there is no need to from me to keep using ear buds. The sound is solid and powerful. 5 |

I purchased a pair of these Auray IP-M Isolation Pads for a non-typical application. Our church has a sound booth on an elevated platform. The floor of this platform tends to transmit any movement through the carpet and up the equipment rack. The end result of which was that our CD Player frequently skipped when the operator made the slightest movement on the platform. Not good for live performance of special music when an accompaniment CD was used. Our CD Player was old, so while replacing it, I chose to add these isolation pads as a shock-upsorbing surface on which to place the new player. This has worked out rather well. The new player may be part of the improvement, but the isolation pads greatly reduce any vibrations from movement on the platform. So far the player has not skipped while a CD is playing. 5 |
