Waterproof Cheap 20Mp Zoom Camera With Flip Screen

Didn't realize my camera didn't have a flip out screen, got this because it was cheap. Surprisingly good reflection and the range of mirror position was plenty for my camera. I almost prefer it to a dedicated flip out screen. It only works on LCD screens that flip up like a waist level finder.

Nice travel camera! Great zoom and small enough to fit in a small purse. The one thing that would make it better is having the screen flip to take selfies. Hope to see that in future models

I am familiar with SLR cameras but I didn't want to have to carry and swap lenses. I wanted a camera to take on trips, which could take a macro or close-up, portraits, or zoom in on birds and other wildlife quickly for a shot. This one lives up to its reputation as one of the best bridge cameras for point and shoot use, with manual capabilities for experienced photographers. It's a bit heavy, but light enough to carry on my neck (in its case) while mountain biking on light trails. I am able to stop my bike and take shots from the seat. It's not a burden on a ride or a hike, but you might want a sling bag or similar for city use. It takes great photos easily. I can flip a switch and change the aperture to take photos using depth of field, and then flip back for quick autofocus shots. The autofocus can be difficult at full zoom, but that could be because I need practice at holding it steady. The battery lasts, and a 64GB memory card holds 5000 images, so you don't need a lot of spares for most trips. Because the included charger only works with the battery inserted into the camera, I might invest in extra batteries and a separate charger. My only minor complaints: You can't review photos without fully powering on the camera and extending the lens. The lens will retract when the sleep timer goes off, but you can keep reviewing photos with it closed. The mobile and desktop apps for remote control and downloading photos are terrible, at least for Mac. I have managed to send a photo from the camera to my phone, but it's a tedious and unintuitive process. You'd think there would be an automatic cloud upload since the camera is Wi-Fi enabled, but no. The easiest way is to remove the card and plug it into a computer. The camera itself is everything I wanted it to be.

I am an avid kayaker and have always looked for a waterproof camera with more zoom capabilities for catching close-ups of wildlife. This zoom fits the bill with its brightness and ease of use. For a compact camera this is great...however I wish it was a wide angle zoom.

I'd first like to mention that I received this camera from Sony as part of their ambassador program, but all thoughts are my own. I spend a lot of my time outside in nature all over the world. I live for adventurous activities and documenting these experiences in both photo and video form. I also like the option of packing light in certain situations (ie. Hiking for hours on end). Sometimes I'm in situations where having a large camera and rig prevents me from getting the shot especially when people are involved. Big cameras can be intimidating! This camera is great for being discreet and takes up very little room in my camera bag...or any bag (I can easily throw it into my purse or small backpack), even with the grip attached. I LOVE that it has a flip screen. Seriously, if this camera can have a flip screen, why can't the A7 series or A9? As a vlogger, flip screens are a HUGE plus. The fact that the camera is water and dust proof makes it a great travel buddy for every type of adventure. The fact that the RX0 II comes equipped with a mic jack, so you can attach an external mic is also very impressive. Again, why can this be done with this super small camera but not the RX100 series? Overall, I'd highly recommend this camera to anyone who is looking for a small but mighty all-purpose action camera to add to their tool kit.

The camera is great and I love it. I am not sure the upgrade from x100F was worth it for flip screen. I am happy to see Fuji continuing to upgrade their products.
