Waterproof Digital Video Camera Reviews 2012

Authentic batteries are always the way to go. I saw reviews of third party ones not being waterproof.

Bought this case for Canon digital camera waterproof case, WP-DC51. It fits snugly and just what I needed for travel protection. Lightweight neoprene, not too bulky, snaps on back to close securely.

Amazing bag, very roomy, waterproof. Ignore the reviews that say this thing sheds wax, it's waxed canvas that is very lightly waxed. It's supposed to feel a little bit waxy, amazingly enough. Room for 4 lenses easily, your batteries, your memory cards, your camera, your camera manual, pens, pencils, lens cleaning kit, extension tubes, and just about whatever else you want. Stuff it to the gills, and travel. That's what it's for.

I bought this lens to help me make video reviews of apartments. This task it performs very well. I also discovered that the lens would fit my still digital camera (What a bonus) so I can use it to update the pictures on our web site!!

I bought this camera for two things. To video dogs I was grooming and to video dogs I was training. I use these videos for training new employee purposes as well as for the customers enjoyment. I've already posted one on my YouTube channel. It does come with a non waterproof back to the waterproof camera case so you can record sound better. Perfect for what I'm doing. I'm not going to submerse the camera but it may get splashed a bit when bathing a dog. It should be splash proof even with the slotted back on it. I attached it to a chest harness while I was grooming and that worked out much better than a helmet cam would have. You can see clearly everything my hands are doing. And because it's attached to a chest harness it's right under my chin so picks up sound well. Surprisingly it was not in my way at all, although I looked a bit odd with it on. I was making the move from a digital all-in-one (and phone camera) to a mirrorless camera, and the reviews of this one really got me to look it over. I am so glad that I did! The Micro 4/3rds system makes it so much smaller and more portable than full frame systems, and Canon includes so many helpful ways for a novice to learn while taking pictures with this model. The 'scene' and 'AP' modes start you with presets for taking certain types of photos, and the Info button can be used to toggle on or off a helpful blurb about almost every option. The lens options for this camera are also fantastic. There are so many great lenses out there, and the prices AND size/weight of them is so much more reasonable than larger camera models. The OM-D E-M10 is not for a professional photographer (though the higher end models certainly seem to be) but for someone who aspires to be a more serious hobby photographer, I think it's a GREAT way to launch.

I purchased this reflector after reading the reviews here and seeing a review in Digital Camera giving the best review among reflectors, so I decided to give it a shot. This was a breeze to pop right out and start shooting with on our first shoot of the year. It made a big difference in our outdoor shoot providing a good amount of light with a great color tone. The only issue we had with this was right in line with many of the other reviews. It is nearly impossible to put it back in the case right the first time. It just takes just a few uses to get used to returning it the right way. It was well worth the purchase and I would do it again in a heartbeat! I am also glad I went for the larger size instead of buying the smaller one and then having to turn right around and purchase this one.

Excellent packaging and fast shipment of the product. The product will be used with digital video camera.

This Tripod I was looking forward to buying, it strongly supports my video camera and digital camera combined. ;)
