Waterproof Hd Video Camera Reviews 2013

My digital camera is for documentation and promotion of my work as a professional artist as well as for personal use. The features I'm most interested in are high quality images with sufficient resolution for print publication (minimum 12 megapixels), auto and manual controls, an articulating viewer, a wide angle/telephoto lens (28mm560mm), and 1080i HD video. I also expect to get a suite of technology such as image stabilization and connectivity commensurate with other cameras in this class. I compared features of various cameras online and chose the Canon PowerShot SX20is based on the many positive reviews and recommendations. I suggest that you read many reviews and comments from many and various sources. Be sure to order a memory card when you order the camera or you won't be able to take pictures or videos. I got an 8GB, 20MB/sec. SanDisk to accommodate hefty HD video files. I only recently purchased the camera but so far it's performing as advertised. If it's as durable and dependable as the old Nikon Coolpix it's replacing then I'll be very satisfied. I have a lot of confidence in the technology in general and in the quality of most of the major brand cameras.

Authentic batteries are always the way to go. I saw reviews of third party ones not being waterproof.

Amazing bag, very roomy, waterproof. Ignore the reviews that say this thing sheds wax, it's waxed canvas that is very lightly waxed. It's supposed to feel a little bit waxy, amazingly enough. Room for 4 lenses easily, your batteries, your memory cards, your camera, your camera manual, pens, pencils, lens cleaning kit, extension tubes, and just about whatever else you want. Stuff it to the gills, and travel. That's what it's for.

I purchased two of these cards to record HD video with our Panasonic Streaming Video camera. Both cards were formatted in the camera without fault. The first one has been used and performed flawlessly. We had been getting random record errors with slower SDXC cards. We have recorded continuously for an hour and fifteen minutes on the the new 200MB card with no problems.

I've used a 720P HD Flip Video camera for many years and have been quite satisfied with the performance. I use the camera to record repairs to homes and golf carts for the owners of rental homes in my program as well as capturing videos of our travels. This camera puts the Flip to shame for several reasons. The video quality is quite a step up and the ease of download and handling of the videos is so much easier it's ridiculous. The wide angle view captures the entire scene and the huge reduction in panning helps to keep continuity in the intended video.I would like to see a far more instructive manual for it's use. @

Just took this item with me out to Arizona.... used to in conjunction with my HD video camera mostly to take timer shots of my bro and I ... selfies long before they called them that ....anyways it was very very good. sturdy... the camera angles (low to the ground ) were excellent..... and it worked well as I hand held it shooting video...made the camera a bit more steady For the 50 or so bucks it cost....cant beat it.. took up no room and was very very versatile.

I bought this camera for two things. To video dogs I was grooming and to video dogs I was training. I use these videos for training new employee purposes as well as for the customers enjoyment. I've already posted one on my YouTube channel. It does come with a non waterproof back to the waterproof camera case so you can record sound better. Perfect for what I'm doing. I'm not going to submerse the camera but it may get splashed a bit when bathing a dog. It should be splash proof even with the slotted back on it. I attached it to a chest harness while I was grooming and that worked out much better than a helmet cam would have. You can see clearly everything my hands are doing. And because it's attached to a chest harness it's right under my chin so picks up sound well. Surprisingly it was not in my way at all, although I looked a bit odd with it on. The case is being used for my SONY.. digital HD video camera recorder. It is big so that it will fix and room for digital camera, the ligths, etc... So far (4-5) producer, would like to have one now.
