Waterproof Jbl Speaker With Google Home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This speaker is outstanding! Another Win for the JBL Team. I have the Authentics in my living room on an end-table and to my surprise almost everyone who walks past it asks where did i get that Retro Speaker and how does it sound. I have no hesitation to open my App, provided in the instructions, and play what ever they want to hear. It is so user friendly through the App or by adjusting the Bass and Treble. I do however suggest you put it on a hard surface because of the large subwoofer on the bottom. I had it on carpeted floor and it didn't have the same punch. It is equipped with Voice Assistant integration, Built-in Wi-Fi, The JBL One App like I was telling you about, a 3.5 mm audio cable Input, and Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant built in. Just a heads up you will have to go onto you Amazon account to add the device I'm sure Google is the same way. Also "JBL One" the App allows you to adjust the Mid range where the adjustable dials on top of the speaker do not have the option. Similar to the Extreme 3, it has a built in charger connection on the back. Very useful. You have heard the Pros, now for the Cons. It has some weight to it BUT you're not carrying it around everywhere so it's cool. Must have on a mid height flat surface for best quality sound, That's all I got lol

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Clip 5 is a truly amazing small compact speaker with a big punch. The JBL Clip 5 connected very easily via bluetooth and using the JBL portable app, you can now customize your EQ and connect multi-speakers. The sound is very clear with a balanced highs and a nice punchy bass. It has an IP67 waterproof rating, and I have used it in the shower. I can honestly say it's waterproof. I like the big clip on it, so it hooks securely to my backpack. The the power and controls are easy to push. JBL has gone another level with this small compact speaker. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'll give it a 9 rating for sound, convenience, and portability.

A much better system than Google Home.

The sound quality is superior to the Google Home Mini speaker it replaced. Set up was better than the GHM set up. Tap with iPhone to set up was a breeze. I purchased four more and have removed Google speakers.

I wish my Play 5's were compatible with my Google Home. I purchased my first Sonos speaker this year (2018). I bought the Play 5 because it had an Aux port. Loved it! Purchased my second Play 5 a couple of months later and now have a Play Bat,too. Awesome product. Made me fall in love with music again.

I bought the charge 4 for college and it works great! We have the charge 3 at home already but I knew that I wanted another JBL speaker for my dorm because it’s waterproof and the sound is great for hanging out, parties, the beach, vibing, you name it. Even if you got a “refurbished” one it is still a great purchase and you would never be able to tell the difference.

This speaker has become a staple in my home. I primarily had JBL speakers, and this one far surpasses any expectations I may have had. The build quality is also just as good. Connecting to my iPhone is very easy and it automatically connects upon turning on. 5/5 stars, would definitely recommend to anyone wanting portable sound quality.

It looks like nothing else I've ever owned, and I immediately cleared a display area for it in my kitchen, where another, smaller, smart speaker had previously resided. The real impression came, however, when I plugged it in and started playing some music. The dynamic range on this is truly impressive; the bass can be felt through the entire counter surface. There are separate knobs to adjust treble, bass, and volume, though the volume was easy to control using my phone as well. I first tested the bluetooth capabilities, which worked flawlessly and at a significant range, before installing the JBL+ app and following the setup instructions. Within about two minutes I had the Authentics 200 connected to my home's wifi network and authenticated for use as a smart speaker with the major smart-home 3rd parties...you know the ones. Now it's super easy to use the Authentics for everything from playlists to streaming radio, to setting timers or my kids getting quick answers to questions. All in all, a splendid addition to the home sound network.

Alexa and google assistant is such an added bonus for someone who uses both it can seamlessly switch between them. The retro inspired design looks so good sitting in a living space just a beautiful design. The JBL one app is easy to use and get the speaker connected to your internet connection. Streaming the music to the speaker directly gives you a higher quality than just using Bluetooth but both work flawlessly and sound great. You can adjust the treble and bass with the knob located on the top or in the JBL one app. This speaker delivers really good bass response and gets very loud while maintaining an outstanding sound. Overall I would highly recommend the authentics 300 it delivers everything and more I look for in a speaker it’s great in home or on the go with the carrying handle and built in battery.
