Waterproof Speaker With Alexa Built In

As dosent have Alexa built in, have connected with an Echo Dot. Connection not perfect . However the speaker produces a great sound, for our large kitchen-diner. Powerful bass, and a good app, to stream music.

So small but so powerful! And it's very cool that it's waterproof, it can be used as a shower speaker!

Pros.. Great sound, easy set up, alarm clock where there is a speaker. Cons.. sometimes Alexa starts up with no prompt. When I do ask Alexa, sometimes another speaker in my house will pick it up instead of the speaker in close proximity

Not too silvery but it is built very solid and is waterproof so the battleship gray works-

This speaker is fairly small but give out awesome, clear sound. It’s also WiFi so I can do updates and can use it as an Alexa speaker, if I can figure out how to work that well. It runs on a rechargeable battery but I usually keep it at the ready on the charging plate, which is sold separately. A nice little powerhouse.

When I bought these speaker stands, my only concern was whether they would support the Alexa version of Sonos One. B&H told me they would & they did. Easy to set up. Highly recommended.

Let’s be clear the HomePod was never meant to be a smart speaker. Instead it was designed and developed to produce outstanding sound in a compact package within the Apple ecosystem and that is exactly what it does. The sound of speakers is truly subjective and to say if Google Home or Sonos is the better speaker is just that, subjective. One thing is clear the tinny sounding echo or echo dot does not compete in sound quality to the HomePod. Siri does not compete in answering trivia, playing fireplace sounds etc. like Alexa. �Siri does take commands in a low voice and does it well. Ask it to play music, set an alarm, play the news, or give the weather no problems. Is it as robust as Alexa? No but it wasn’t made to be that way. Shortcomings? A few... can you ask Siri to stream other music providers through voice commands? No, but you can stream it through Airplay. HomePod does many things well and yes shortcomings exist but the software exists within the HomePod for future upgrades. HomePod is still new but if you are looking for amazing sound particularly if you are signed up to Apple Music you will not be disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great speaker for the home. The Alexa feature is easy to setup and works to give amazing sound. The Bluetooth was just select and go! This has a good quality sound with nice bass notes that can fill the room or house. I would highly recommend this speaker. You won’t be disappointed!

This was an upgrade on our Sonos One speaker. Great upgrade, fantastic sound quality. Alexa seems to work better on it. Some issues setting it up tonally certain radio stations, however once I was guided by an online tech all the issues have gone. Great service, great product.
