Waterproof Sports Video Camera Review

Use for action video camera and accessories. Waterproof, dustproof, lightweight, indestructible.

Planning to use my video camera for action sports on the beach this will help keep sand off of the lens.

I bought this camera for two things. To video dogs I was grooming and to video dogs I was training. I use these videos for training new employee purposes as well as for the customers enjoyment. I've already posted one on my YouTube channel. It does come with a non waterproof back to the waterproof camera case so you can record sound better. Perfect for what I'm doing. I'm not going to submerse the camera but it may get splashed a bit when bathing a dog. It should be splash proof even with the slotted back on it. I attached it to a chest harness while I was grooming and that worked out much better than a helmet cam would have. You can see clearly everything my hands are doing. And because it's attached to a chest harness it's right under my chin so picks up sound well. Surprisingly it was not in my way at all, although I looked a bit odd with it on. I have a new HD video camera and I film a lot of youth sports. The VT-2100 is very smooth.

Used the product to listen to audio from my video camera for fillming live sports. Works great and really mutes the surounding audio. Great product.

This camera is fabulous for landscapes and portraits and some sports. I still use my 7Dmkii at times for sports and birds for the speed and reach. This camera has great sensitivity, low noise, great autofocus, reasonable multi-frame speed. The touch screen is nice, useful in many situations. I do wish it had an articulated rear screen so I could hold the camera up high and still frame the picture.The 4k video is wonderful even though I don't use video that often.It does make rather large files in the 4k mode. I have used this for months and I am truly impressed. I know Nikon has introduced a new camera with some impressive specs, but I still think this camera provides wonderful performance. It was a great improvement over my 6D.

I normally video amateur sports (soccer is a fast paced example). Having finished a couple games with my iFootage Komodo K5, have to say I'm very happy with my choice. I especially like the smooth horizontal panning. I was not expecting the built-in resistance while panning but after the first half of the first game, I understood the advantage of having it. Especially liked the adjustable quick mount that let me center the camera weight resulting in smoother vertical camera angle during zooming actions.

I use this for sports stills as well as documentary video production. Surprisingly enough, it's an excellent action photo camera thanks to the beautifully sharp and high refresh rate viewfinder, amazingly refined grip and build (Sony has made huge strides here compared to precious alphas), an autofocus system that never lets me down, and overall great speed - not sure if it's the small sensor resolution or processor but doing everything on this camera is FAST. If you don't have a need for cropping heavily on your images and shoot any video, this is a dream camera.

I used this lens on my Canon XA10 video camera. My first shoot with it was at sports event in the bright sun and the Polarizing effect was great. Upon looking at the recording I could see a deeper, richer saturation that I did not have before.
