Waterproof Vinyl Sticker Paper Printer Media Selection

This has been my favorite vinyl paper for sticker making!

I love this printer. Right selection of media to choose from and no ink to replenish (Thermal) you can print using the app for your phone or a USB cable to print from your computer. Compact and easy to use.

I had been printing shipping labels on sticker paper, which would never line up to the top edge, so I had to cut them out of the middle of the paper. It was a pain and a waste. Now I press print and the QL-1100 is all like, "I got this" and shoots it out in two seconds. It was super easy for me to set it up. I have a Dell computer. I'm not technically savvy and it was a snap. I love, love, love this printer. I had been on the fence about buying a thermal printer, and I'm kicking myself for waiting this long.

The quality and color of the images are superb. It only takes few seconds to print and the printer application is super easy and convenient to use. It even has a lot of cute sticker and fun frame options that you can design your photos with. The package came with two beautiful photo albums and printing paper and another kind of sticker paper. It’s amazing to see how the printer transfers color without using any ink cartridges. It makes it more convenient to use, all you need is to order ink infused paper from their app and you are ready to go. The printer is very smooth, fast and low sound while printing. The battery lasts about 2 hours, which I would say is enough for a little device to print about 20 images in that amount of time. I love that I can print my own photos at home, and love how comfortable and fun the whole experience is with Canon. This is my new favorite personal printer! Everyone should have one.

Safe way to store your media. Small, compact, waterproof

Vinyl backgrounds are so much more durable than paper backdrops. The y can be cleaned easily and don't crease or tear like paper. I have had a white vinyl backdrop for three years now, and it still cleans up as good as new with a Clorox Wipe. The vinyl backdrops have a distinct odor when you first unwrap them. The smell takes a week or so to wear off. Also be prepared with heavy duty stands or mounting hardware - they are heavy. I use mine with Manfrotto wall mounts hung from a ceiling.

I use this paper on my Canon IPF5100 17 inch printer. I print my fine art photography on Hahnemuhle media only. The photo rag is archival and shows the color and texture of my prints better than any other media. I guess that in making paper for 500 years, they tend to get it right. I totally recommend this paper to anyone that prints and wants to make it look the best.

The Canon Pro 6600 replaces a 14 year old Epson 11880. The Canon 60 answers all the deficiencies of the Epson and raises the bar in each case. Looking at the range of choices available in current printer offerings, it becomes clear that Canon has pulled ahead with its wide format printer designs. The most dramatic improvements are as follows: 1. Onboard linearization of the print head for truly consistent color across devices and media. Taking into account wider color gamut and a greater D-max on the matt black ink, the Canon delivered an almost exact match with color from my 11880 following the initial linearization upon setup. With tuning of paper profiles the results only got better. 2. Vastly improved media handling with the ability to load and track length on two rolls of media simultaneously and the ability to switch between rolls and sheets without having back the roll media out of the paper feed. 3. Automatic media detection. After a paper type has been registered with the printer it is able to detect both size and surface. 4. Comprehensive media configuration software. Creating and tracking media profiles with the new Media Configuration Tool and printing with Professional Print and Layout delivers the control and performance associated with RIP software. 5. User replaceable print head (no more $3500 service calls). There are many other details that recommend the printer but those are most dramatic. The only flaw is the fussy fabric paper basket with too many setup options and awkward implementation. The solution on the 11880 was elegant and strait forward. That said, paper basket is literally the only misstep on the Canon Pro 6600.

This ink is the right fit for my printer. The color is sharp and clean going on the paper, no matter which type of media I use. It is great to be able to by the inks in a single pack like this, since some colors get used more than others.
