Waterproofing Construction Paper

This was purchased as a gift for my father to take on his many fishing expeditions. The waterproofing, quality construction and rugged design were everything he was looking for in a pair of Binoculars. The large size was also a plus. To quote my dad They are big enough to fit even my head I can't speak to the under-water resistance and floatation capability of these Binoculars as they have thankfully avoided testing by accidental lake immersion (thus far). The only caveat I would have is that the rubber is all black making it nearly impossible to locate should it be dropped in water. A bright orange or other highly visible 'safety' color finish would make them stand out better if they did.

Requests would be volume control on the headphones and better waterproofing.

All the access, all the waterproofing you could ask for in this form factor. I will wear this one out and buy another!

Paper is fine for construction drawings, easy to load and use.

The sound quality, run time, and waterproofing are very good. I wish the buttons were a bit bigger.

I routinely use many (20+) of these bags for waterproofing electronics that are left outdoors in wet conditions for over six months at a time. This is used as my second of three layers of waterproofing, I have never had these bags leak when my initial waterproofing container has failed (and it has, several times). My first layer is glass/plastic lid food container, glued shut with RTV, Loksak bag is the second layer, pelican 1000 series case is the third layer. I use Olympus silica packs in the pelican case and Ruggard or pelican 40g reusable desiccant packs in the Loksak bag to keep everything crispy dry. Double zippers and thick plastic material definitely gave me confidence in using this, as opposed to some other brands that have failed me in the past. I've been using this setup for a few years now and it has proved very successful.

I use the remote for long exposures and it works just as expected. I am around bodies of water on a regular basis so the waterproofing is nice for peace of mind. Battery changing requires unscrewing two screws but they should last long enough that it is not that much of an issue.

Go pro housings are 100% effective in waterproofing , in all my years using GoPro I have never had the slightest of problems even though I have many times exceeded the limit of 60 M. Yes ! its a 5* housing.

This is the best tripod I have ever owned. The waterproofing is fantastic and the feature is one of the reasons why I bought this. Keep in mind the center column is not waterproof. I made the mistake of putting it in the water but I dried it off in time. Used this at full extension in the ocean and on the beach and it works really well. Sturdy and even using a benro heavy video head works well. Overall, sturdy and waterproof, tall and what I was looking for.

I got this for an Olympus TG-830. It fits fine, and it feels very strong and rigid. It also has good waterproofing (at least now that it's new.) The supplied biner is pretty lightweight, so I replaced it with a lanyard.
